This place was this type of good find we actually visited your time and effort to list it on trip advisor. Short edition: good menu selection, nice tasting food with good food portion sizes and we regarded as the pricing to become below what it had been actually worth (AU$3- $4 to begin with $5 - 7 for mains, $2 beer). Greatest non local meals we've experienced in SE Asia. Longer version: we've been budget traveling around SE Asia for pretty much 3 months. We usually eat at very nearby places but when we crave even more western style foods we try and search for a reasonable cafe with decent pricing. Usually we have been disappointed with the overall quality and insufficient flavour at these areas and wish we'd just trapped with the cheaper regional meals. We past by Bali Spice Cafe on our scooter and another night felt just like a crack from stall food therefore decided to give it a try. The menu wasn't large but offered a good selection including pasta, poultry, seafood etc. We opted to take a seat on the main one outside table nonetheless they possess tables in air-con inside with a bar, pool table plus they play funky songs. I ordered the poultry (think it had been called Jamaican poultry) and drinking water and my companion the pasta and a beer. The service was great and the waiter topped up my drinking water every time the cup was getting low(drinking water was cost-free - first-time we've got this at any bistro). The food arrived also it felt like we'd died and attended heaven! Ok perhaps a slight exaggeration however the flavours were tasty and the food portion sizes generous. I have been craving a large chunk of poultry with veges, potatoes and gravy that a lot of importantly acquired some flavour and had not been disappointed. My companions pasta was equally tasty and was actually an extremely big portion dimension for pasta. The food was so good that people told the waiter (usually we don't create a fuss such as this) and requested why they were not really listed on journey advisor (we'd done a seek out restaurants in Kuah rather than many had appear). We returned a couple of days later on and was worried we'd end up being disappointed as sometimes the follow-up meal isn't as great but luckily once again the meals was excellent. This is not a fancy restaurant nevertheless of all places we've eaten at excluding nearby food (local foods is fantastic but sometimes we are in need of a break) it has undoubtedly been the tastiest cost effective for money place we've found.

We stumbled to this bar whenever we wandered around aimlessly in another of those 'I have no idea what to eat' sort of moods. It is a gem of a location. The proprietor of the area has travelled all over the world as a chef sothe tapas design menu has been a delight! We arrived here two times in a row once we couldn't get plenty of of his cooking! Attempt the Nori rolls! Delicious! Six meals and four drinks found £12 only. Since it is rather new, prices are really reasonable to obtain customers in. I am hoping this place does nicely. It might be a shame to observe this uncommon place lose its location between the typical, overpriced touristy locations. Can't fault this location... Friendly staff, delicious foods, great music, pool desk and tasty lychee Martinis at under £3!

We visited Bali Spice Cafe final 30 days and had a few great night time there. The drinks have become cheap and the personnel are very pleasant. We fulfilled and shared dancing moves with some of the locals and partied before early hrs. Definitelyworth a trip. Gobi the bar guy makes some pretty unique shots as well.
