I don't usually eat seafood along with a parking garage, however when I do, I favor Top Spot. We'm not likely to lie for you, this place is really a little bit intimidating. It's massive. You can find at least twelve individual stalls, all serving comparable seafood offerings. English-speakers come in short provide, but a lot of the ordering can be carried out with pointing and easy phrases. Nevertheless, there's almost an excessive amount of choice. Not knowing anything regarding anything, we simply took a lap to discover the freshest fish and settled upon stall #25. There is a black-striped seafood with clear eye and a complete heart, therefore we couldn't lose. We gave that sucker to the good lady in control, and asked her to fry it up. She suggested a fairly sweet and spicy sauce of some sort, and we couldn't argue. Tossed in a few jungle ferns (believe mini-fiddleheads) with garlic, and some giant prawns, and we'd a meal along the way. Once you order, you get a seat, and people provides you rice, drinks, and finally, the meals you ordered. The fish didn't say much, nonetheless it had been strong and reliable. The Tim Riggins of entire fish, in the event that you will. We'd fun picking every final morsel off the bones, and the greens had been a fantastic accompaniment. The prawns had been mealy and bland, however they all can't be Panthers. Luckily, the complete fish was plenty of food for just two, and everything has been insanely cheap anyway. Overall, Top Spot is really a pretty simple location. You select your seafood, inform them how exactly to cook it, and revel in. Don't overcomplicate points with [forced Friday Night time Lamps references], and you'll be fine.

I actually've been heading here since i have was just a little girl plus they have the very best seafood dishes ever! Rather than to forget all of the local dishes that exist. If you possess a large family and you also dont know where you can eat Top Spot Meals Court is the greatest spot to have dinner! And when you are usually craving for a few coconut juice after that this place has plenty of them. It is possible to order whatever you like and pick the ingredients yourself. I really do recommend the oyster omelet though. They will have the best there.

The food court is situated on the 6th floor of the building and there is absolutely no escalator or raise access. You need to manoeuvre a number of flights of stairs to obtain there. Seating is protected outdoor. We continued the Hari Raya Long weekend break and it was really crowded. Seating will be by stall and that means you cannot sit anyplace you prefer. Some stalls are shut probably due to the holiday. The initial stall politely told us it will require an hour for the food to prepare yourself. So we shifted.. the second stall informed us there's no desk whenever there are a few available however the table is filled up with empty meals obviously left by earlier patrons. I guess they're short handed. Therefore we returned to the initial stall. Managed to look for a desk and told the purchase taker the table quantity. We ordered satay while looking forward to our foods. Satay was so therefore.. maybe because of the masses it wasn't ready. Our seafood arrived after about 30mins.. planning is easy and my Mom noticed several dishes aren't properly ready.. as in a few condiments and ingredients aren't used. Taste was okay but the cost to us is affordable. I may try this once again under normal conditions when We'm back Kuching merely to compare but We've tasted far better.

Amazing! I had dark pepper prawns and the oyster pancake from #25. Everything was tasty, but I recommend to consume the pancake hot! Since it cools it gets chewy rather than crispy. It is extremely organized chaos. Don't be frightened. Just find out what looks great and do it now! As soon as you order, grab the seat, a separate Vendor should come offer drinks (spend them in advance) and rice. You purchase all your meals at the cashier by the end.

Rooftop food court - extremely duper inexpensive seafood with wonderful flavours. Be sure you stroll around all stalls before purchasing. The 'hot' meals are usually: butter prawn - when I say prawn, they're really HUGE, larger than king prawns. Chilli crab, and seafood sauce spicy vege. 3 dishes for RM75 (~£15), really excellent deal. Payment normally designed to waiter once all meals have already been served, cash only.

I picked a striking shiny clear-eyed golden pomfret from stall #25 and had it steamed "Nyonya design" (with sambal, pineapples, and okra). It arrived perfect - smooth and flaky, not really chewy at all, with ranges helpfully reduce in its flank to greatly help me determine out the place to start digging the flesh out. That which was nice concerning this particular seafood had been that its bones had been large and an easy task to spot - all of the easier to savor the sensitive flesh without continuously digging small bones out of my gums! Midin with garlic because a part provided the savory accompaniment that the slightly-too-nice Nyonya sauce needed. These were out of some of the fresh fruit juices, therefore i had a very hot barley drink instead. All this ran me regarding RM 36. I has been amazed - on Jalan Alor in KL a similar thing could have been 50-60+.

Nice spot to dine within and the purchase price is reasonable. A tourist appeal for food lover particularly sea food. Serve preferred nearby cuisine as as midin and ambal

Food: 3.0/5.0 Service: 2.0/5.0 Value: 4.0/5.0 Decor: 2.0/5.0 Overall: 3.0/5.0 Stopped by on the Monday night time and wasn't certain if the Mon seafood rule was within play. Did a complete stroll around and my summary was that there is not a solitary 'fresh' fish found across all of the stalls, and perhaps, the fish looked a lot more than simply two days old. Don't let the current presence of 'apparent' locals mislead you, my imagine will be that nobody bothers to check on for themselves. My imagine is that the store owners retain things so long as possible and hardly ever toss anything out. My team did a lot of shellfish instead (simply no opinion upon the freshness of these) from the #25 stall given just how many TripAdvisor evaluations that stall had. The meals had not been great but certainly edible, certainly distinctive, and incredibly reasonably priced especially in comparison to Western requirements. The beverages (sold individually by another operator) had been very cheap, including an excellent milk tea. It had been kind of fascinating to use this place as soon as, and probably only one time.

if you're a tourist , take the advice of the locals and take a look place out! image a food courtroom where one can order from a menus but what you would like to do is get a plate, scope out the new seafood choose some fresh veggies hands the plate to the personnel and they will prepare it up for you personally. you can purchase steamed rice and stinks from your own table. if you are done simply walk over to the money counter trek in that case your table number and spend. I ate at stall 25. i am ready to try new meals but always just a little nervous about "road" food. but I'd come back right here for sure. an excellent place for the adventurous tourist or the much less adventurous tourist.

#25, Ling Loong, and ABC stalls. New seafood galore! Huge tiger prawns, whole seafood, tofu and veggie claypot soups, midin (jungle ferns), oysters, crab, lobster. In addition they could make fried noodles. It had been delicious and cheap! Entire meal was about 80 RM and we ate lavishly two nights in a row! An excellent tip: pick your personal seafood out with the tongs! It's better this way. You pay by the end at a cashier. (prevent "thai taste" or "coconut shrimp taste") I wasn't an enormous fan of the particular oyster pancake that foreigners get. Just large crispy pancake how big is a hubcap with broadly dispersed oysters... It's on the top ground of the car recreation area. Don't make it happen too late or even the place is complete and crab or some other items might be sold-out. We obtained there around 630pm 1 day (great), and 830pm (poor).
