This is most likely the best Japanese restaurant in Kuching. It's been maintained by a couple team for quite some time and maintains its constant top quality. The fish is definitely refreshing and the sashimi and sushi is definitely good. There's sake, asahisuper dried out and some bottles of individual malts and wines. The beef meals like the sabu sabu and sukiyaki are usually good. Service is quick and efficent. Weekends could be real hectic so a reservation will be a good notion. Always worth a trip when in Kuching.

Myself come here often, and I'd say to date that is still the very best Japanese restaurant around. However best quality includes a cost. Their ingredient are very fresh, I've come numerous time rather than once have got complain on freshness.

In case you are in Kuching and buying good Japanese restaurant, search no further. Minoru (also referred to as Robata from the days of the past) has been around existence for over 30 many years, and Richard and Carol will be the Singaporean proprietors who now reside right here completely. His sashimi bar and counter supplies the best and freshest choices of flown in seafood, and the chef behind the counter is friendly and assistance is good. In my viewpoint, this is actually the only genuine Japanese food eatery around, prices are generally pricier compared to the others but it's worthwhile. Sake and beers may also be excellent, and program is great. Test it out for the next time a person fancy some Japanese.

We went not as soon as but two times during our stay static in Kuching....maybe three times.... I know this is the oldest Japanese restaurant around, and I must say i admire the dog owner, but primarily the "chef" and his wife which are really after your preferences. Wefelt like house: we tried almost anything...also the Toro.... All we tried has been great. Price: good food should be expensive, otherwise there's something wrong. Who would like a delicious clean tasty and very best Japanese, join the Minoru Eating place!!!!!

If you want top quality Japanese food in Kuching, this is actually the spot to be. The placing is great & conspicuously clean. They will have helpful, attentive & kimono- clad personnel.

We ordered some sashimi, buckwheat noodles, tempura, fried chicken epidermis, grilled komochi shishamo, home sake. Sashimi isn't amazing, can't really obtain the fresh flavor of the seafood. Buckwheat noodle will be alright but helping is quite small indeed. General, the menu is extremely priced, will notjustify the standard of food.

I agree with among the reviewers, forget this joint. Our dinner came around RM250 for a couple bits of sashimi, cuttlefish, oyaku don and chirashi. Right after paying the costs, we rushed to Ocean Good to perform our dinner. Possibly for hygiene reasons, Minorusushi chef placed on a set of gloves whilst making sushi yet I have not really seen a Japanese sushi chef wearing gloves.
