Great made by hand pasty inside Kuching. The pastries are usually fresh. Although is little bit pricey but affordability. Great location for afternoon tea. Should avoid weekend break if you like quiet afternoon.

We popped by for tea throughout a rainy Kuching night time and had a glass of hot chocolate, machiato, the slice of cake and the pastry. Loved the cozy decoration and ambience. The cake is definitely yummy. Had a pleasant evening here.

So what can I say around Madeleine Cafe except that it's the best patisserie inside Kuching. Madeleine will be our preferred cafe in Kuching for cakes and savory breads. The tomato bread with essential olive oil is the greatest. Their croissants; both regular and chocolate are usually alsoyummy. The breads are usually soft and fluffy. They also serve a number of desserts from cakes to tarts. Their Nutella chocolate cakes, strawberry cakes and tarts are usually to die for. All breads and desserts are freshly produced on web site, and from the grade of the loaf of bread and desserts served, 1 knows the very best ingredients are used. Madeleine also acts a number of drinks which include speciality coffees, juices and carbonated drinks. Unfortunately, the one thing they don't serve is the best coffee drink; affogato. Prices are reasonable; much like what one will pay for beverages and desserts at a resort. Ambience will be quaint and fine. On a rainy day time, sitting in the outdoor beneath the glass windows, I'm reminded of experiencing afternoon tea someplace in London. I recommend Madeleine if you are craving for good desserts. Two thumbs!!

Hands straight down this is actually the best bakery within Kuching! Madeleine's standards will be on par with any 1st world bakery, also to find this type of treasure in sleepy Kuching speaks of the increasing standards of surviving in Sarawak. We love their focaccia, croissants, tiramisu, and peanutbutter bar. D-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!! Remember that their pricing can be first world prices, but soooo worthwhile for proper breads and cakes.

A good spot to go in Kuching for a good sit down elsewhere & a heavenly slice of cake. It includes an awesome, relaxing atmosphere to meet up with buddies. The pastries & cakes are usually priced for their high quality. Their croissants, rocky street bread &tomato focaccia certainly are a favorite.

Highly recommend to provide it a try in the event that you haven't. Of course you like the pastries and cakes there, even my 3-year old son furthermore likes their cakes. Delicious! The ambience is wonderful aswell. A good spot to hang out with close friends or family oreven in case you are alone.

The patisseries are very much recommended. Great spot to hang out and meet up with your (lady)friends. You may also take your day to the lovely cafe. Also keep in mind to take nice pictures, believe me it's post-worthy!
