A colleague recommended this restaurant and we made a decision to test it out for as it was no more than 10-15 mins walk from our hotel (Hilton). No issues getting there by using website! The restaurant looks small but in addition to the air conditionedsection of approx 8 tables, you can find yet another 11 tables externally. The menu isn't extensive, only one 1 double-sided lamitnated A4 sheet. All quite tattered, I might add! Some interesting home brewed teas like lemongrass, roselle, matoom and butterfly tea. We'd the roselle and butterfly tea (see pics). We also ordered the most common suspects - the papaya salad, clear tom yam, beef green curry, red roasted duck curry and mango glutinous rice for dessert. The papaya salad tasted quite authentic and definitely packed a punch! The seafood tom yum soup had a lot of fish inside it, some squid and many small but fresh shrimp (too small to be classified as prawns). Very spicy! Both curries were relatively mild set alongside the salad and soup - the beef was surprisingly tender and the curry was rich and thick. I loved it! My partner preferred the roast duck red curry but I came across it just a little to gamey for me personally. It was a significant strong duck taste - if you want duck. The mango rice really was yummy, about half a little mango on a bed of warm glutinous rice and drizzled with thick coconut milk. Delicious! Price came around RM82 including drinks. Expensive by Kuching standards, but worthwhile in the event that you crave good Thai food.

I really like the Tom Yam Soup. It really is tasty and savoury. Cost mid range and inexpensive. EASILY crave for Thai meals. I will eat right here. The petai will be tasty too. Sadly, the mango sticky rice is usually dry and insufficient flavour. I've tasted betterI suppose. Overall, satisfactory.

This is bound to salvage your spicy palate to the tip of one's tongue. From the good collection of authentic food menus made by the Thai chef at an acceptable price, most dishes are usually hot hot hot and yummy that you could washthem down with thai lemongrass consume and complete with mango sticky rice. Warning, if you cannot handle hotness perform inform the waiters beforehand.

Got the Tom Yam Soup Very clear. Filled with ingredients but mainly overshadowed by the sourness of it and only a minor tinge of spicy. I has been informed by the waitress that it had been likely to be sour in comparison to Tom Yam Soup Reddish (which ismeant to function as more spicy edition), but I believed the sourness had been in overkill. Furthermore ordered the Thai charcoal-grilled chicken. I'd say if we're speaking normal chicken dish, it could be fine. Good sharp on the skin, the proper colours, not dry out meats. But if we're speaking Thai charcoal-grilled poultry in its essence, this barely lifestyles around its name. Actually, it should've been known as Crispy Epidermis Chicken... Briefly, the poultry was either badly marinated or not really marinated at all. It lacks that aroma and wealthy flavours that should include this dish. The sauce which should compliment the dish didn't surpass its function. I stuck to consuming the bird without it. Are you aware that Green Curry Chicken, We wasn't sure that which was heading on with the dish. It ran as well watery for my liking and in addition lacking in taste. My pal and I also purchased the nice sticky rice with mango for desserts. Since it was served sooner than we anticipated (since we had been told it might be served after supper and at that time, we were actually only halfway through supper), it had been exposed to the surroundings for a while, I'll have to supply the benefit of question concerning the dryness of the sticky rice. The sticky rice has been furthermore not creamy enough. Or else, it was alright. Service was great. I saw comments occasionally about the proprietors. At the very least for my supper there, these were nice.

The meals was nice. I tried their Tom Yam and Pandan Chicken, it's taste good and affordability. Didn't have the ability to try their fried oyster but I heard is nice.

Been here maybe once or twice and food is excellent especially the fish.Little pricey by Kuching standards but nonetheless worth going.

This place is undoubtedly one of the better spot to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine. The Tom Yum is fairly legit and the oyster egg is yumm. Occasionally, it is possible to order the sticky mango pudding and they're quite delicious. Only bad thing about thisplace may be the parking. Besides that, I believe his place is fairly alright 😊

They will have indoor and outdoor non air condition seating area. Very easy cafe without renovation. We ordered phad thai, fried sweet potato leaves and mango sticky rice (designed for fine in mere). Our check came around RM37 including 2 drinks. Food tasted alrightand will most likely not go back again.

Place is quite small, I could say less known. Menu isn't huge but owner and staff have become attentive. With regards to food, the authentic Thai taste will there be, but the portion is quite small, especially conaidering the purchase price. Ill return, as itsa good spot to relax, from the crowded places.

I'm a large fan of Thai cuisine. Engleham 31 may appear such as a "Western" cafe for some, but that is also a location offering thai food in Kuching. I ordered several dishes and am content with the taste although somewhat without the authenticThai flavours. However the sticky rice with mango is crucial have! 5/5 for me personally! Ambience could possibly be better though for the price tag on the food. It really is this type of waste to start to see the place being made "in the same way it really is" without much efforts to call home around its eye-catching external architecture.
