First-time coming here. Have no idea what things to expect, but very unexpected. Firstly, this place isn't across the main road, in fact it is located in the village or kampung. Arrived and discovered this is a fresh fish market! The initial impression iswhy a brand new fish market.? Because the place is situated beside a river, you can view fishermen attracting their catch to market in this market. What is in screen is what the fishermen's catch. Pick everything you like to possess and they'll weigh the seafood, crabs, squid etc and ask you for accordingly. The fish itself could be taken house for own cooking. Behind the seafood market can be an eatery, and you will request the eatery to make the style you prefer (Malay style, basically). Picked a fish plus some squid, and spend by the weight in order to the fish vendor, and take the fish in order to the eatery to keep these things cook for us. Ask to make Assam Pedas for the seafood (sour spicy seafood) and sambal squid. Need to await the cooking. Whilst waiting around, there is some snack foods to munch. When the food has been served, we visit the counter to find the rice, amount is around us to take. Paid for the beverages ordered, the snack foods taken and the food preparation. Although it could be limited in option, however, it is extremely home cook design of taste, not commercialised. It is a true hidden gem. To obtain here, need to search for the signboard that states "Pasar Nelayan Jualan Ikan Segar Balok Pantai 800m".

We'd been having excellent coffees, lunches, beverage breaks here for days gone by week. Then we uncovered breakfast. The corn fritters with avocado / tomato salsa are usually so refreshing and fabulously introduced. All tastebuds were well and really rewarded. Coffee as well is excellent andthe fresh fruit juice aren't to be missed. Services is prompt, pleasant and helpful. Place is merely perfect. My fresh favourite location - but I concern I might have just managed to get a lot busier.
