The Watercolours resort restaurant. ( now referred to as The Barat) has been quite a good selection for eating and can be an unrecognizably better because the name modification an change of administration. The meals selection was quite great with the seafood most likely the greatest. We attempted avariety of dishes, like the “western design” pasta dishes ( best for Perhentian Island but unsurprisingly nothing at all to evaluate to anything in European countries). Service was good, fast, efficient and polite The restaurant was a significant pleasant surprise, though I'm not sure easily would ever stay static in the resort.

This is actually the warmest and kindest staff, I ever met... Expect high-class from the sceneri, not from the bungalow. It is a basic bungalow with a mattress, toilet and shower. That is barefoot/flipflop/scuba/snorkel island, and durring Ramadan, things aren't going that speedy as you maybe used to - so enjoy and relax instead!

This resort is currently called the Barat Perhentian and we'd lunch at the restaurant on your day we arrived. My burger that was topped with a fried egg had been excellent as has been the fries that was included with it. The small part of coleslaw hadway an excessive amount of dressing but tasted great. The Radna kway teow didn't look right since it was dark dark brown but it tasted okay and had plenty of poultry, squid and prawns inside it. The seafood marinara penne had been way too expensive and RM28 and was only passable. A few of the products were affordable others no nonetheless it wasn't too poor and consuming by the ocean can't be bad!

The barat is an excellent restaurant with good food. The costs are not harmful to the island. It's a little bit chaotic sometimes but that's everywhere here and it's its charm. The food is great, the personnel is quite friendly in fact it is professionally organized. We'd dinner (fresh seafood from the barbecue) and breakfast. I totally recommend this place, simply accept that's not the service that people know in European countries but Malay standards.
