Employees: Is friendly, accommodating, and entertaining. They perform initiate conversations each time (which is fine), and greet you aswell. Although the owner appears to enjoy speaking with europeans more. ^_^) Location: We had the complete room to ourselves (13 folks). A pillow andblanket will be provided, and also a mosquito net and electrical fans. There's a washer for lease and a place to hold your wet clothes. There is a piano, and a lot of books too! It is possible to have fun with or read at the veranda while friends and family enjoy your songs on a hammock or sofa dealing with the beach~ The area is kept clear all during the day. - There are several room - but there's only 2 comfort areas (both without sink, with intermittent drinking water and power) Beach: The location is merely infront of the seaside. Very mud and clear water. It is possible to snorkel around and discover selection of fishes around 15-35m from the shore. Food: They don't serve food. :(

Staff lovely, very useful and informative concerning the island, mainland and routines, especially diving and snorkelling that is excellent all over the island. The guesthouse is similar to going back with time. Old mysterious images on the wall space of the owner who was simply not really therewhile I stayed. The beds are more comfortable with mosquito nets provided ( they're definitely needed ). You can find enthusiasts to but no air conditioning. I slept ok several sounds in the night time but that's everything you must expect if you are keeping on a little island on the outskirts of the jungle. It is rather historical and quaint in the longhouse. Negative points - reduced pressure inside the showers and the electric powered was off within my second evening! There is no foods in the eating place but plenty of options at other areas along the seaside. The bar had not been very well stocked! AND ALSO THE price is 40 Ringgit per night within the dorm room, not really 30 Ringgit as earlier stated. I actually enjoyed my stay here, but admittedly it could not be for everybody!

- The rooms are clear, utilities very essentials (but that's what we had been expecting from a inexpensive guesthouse on a little island) - The restaurant is great and quite inexpensive, the staff is incredibly great - they organize campfires during the night, and had been really lovely,getting us blankets, ice etc, playing your guitar .. - The environment is amazing, by the end of the seaside so basically we've the beach simply for us guest, with wonderful take on the sunset. Would recommend for folks that want to meet up people and which are willing to spend a couple of days without much comfort.

I didn't booked anyplace when i arrive on Kapas island. i arrived to the longhouse & i am warmly welcomed. I stayed 2 Nights in the dorm. The dorm is massive. This is only individual beds, with mosquito net. And ... that's all. Thereis probably 3-4 plugs for the all dorm. (I used one just from the room). Only 2 bathrooms. Usually, the area is authentic & stunning. All in wood. Big typical area with couch, hamac, seats ... Breakfast availlable for an inexpensive price. Normally, juices & smoothies accessible all day. When i stayed, three or four 4 young men were running the area. On the next day, one of these came with 3-4 folks to accomplish some snorkelling & present us some places. Excellent. This is not probably the most confortable place, but good vibes over there. I would recommend.

We booked originally 3 nights but stayed here for weekly! The area is amazing! The staff is wonderful, we had lots of fun together, one night they produced a bonfire on the beach and played your guitar for us. The staff is veryhelpful and knows a whole lot about the island and so are joyful to answer all your questions. It is possible to borrow snorkeling products and kayaks. They only assist breakfast in high period, but you can find other places to visit.

Captain's is an extremely nice spot to relax, from the far finish of the primary beaches it is the most secluded on the island that's accessible but without everyone jogging Infront. We camped below the longhouse, it had been a fun experience however the tents get sandyand are actually hot at night. I was residing at D'Seri, simply beside Longhouse. Longhouse only acts breakfast and until 11am if im not mistaken. I arrived somewhat after plus they were closed however they were nice sufficient to accomodate me because of their last order. I sat directly on the beachand study my book. It had been really nice. Once the foods arrived, the kitty immediately jumped on my desk and nibble apart my meals. I attempted feeding him therefore he doesn't dirty everything but he didn't desire to be fed but rather nibble by himself :/ He's cute ut not really everyone could have liked their breakfast getting sabotaged.

Since I couldnt see accommodation to out liking, we made a decision to bring our very own tent and accessories. Pitched our tent on the beachfront just beyond this Long home Kapten. Actually nice view of the beach and waters are simply so very clear and beautifulfishes. The keepers perform keep carefully the beach very clear and ensures no getting of fishes and ocean life. They do book tents and accomodation. Being the ramadan time of year, things certainly are a bit sleepy. Toilet will be of the squat kind and bath drinking water is strong however the tap water is quite yellowish, although filtered. Perform provide mosquito spray and coil cos the area is infested. We had been charged RM45 each day for usage of their toilet and bath amenities, which we believed is very expensive. I possibly could possess rented a tent for much less.

We visited here most times late afternoon. Good place to sit down and chill over several cool beers. Staff right here nice people specifically sha nice man. WiFi is good right here and good place for snorkeling along by the rocks. Suggested for relaxing time.

Wake up, go out to leading of the chalet. swim early morning, evening and even beneath the stars, personal, no hassle, no eye starring at you, except probably the fishes, plenty of fishes. Nice basic yummy food. Plenty of friendly individuals and CATS!!!
