Situated on the Chinese temple, all of us just happened upon this particular place for lunch time. We ordered four various plates, two of these meat dishes. The dog owner later on came to show us that it had been a vegetarian cafe, and that the meats dishes were actually soyprotein, and recommended we change the purchase, which we do. The meals was really excellent, and the purchase price was fair. From memory it exercised to about RM25 each. Additionally, there are several historic sculptures and buddha statues shown at the foyer to the eating place which are worthy of a look. The just thing I came across distasteful was the old wet towel trick. They released packets of wet towel cells and then afterwards they show up on the costs. No big offer though because they only charged RM1.30 each for them.

The restaurant can be found serious inside Ulu Yam Lama and when you’re unfamiliar with the area, I am hoping you’ve got a GPS unit. The area has been pack with lunch masses and waited for 1/2 hr before our meals came. Order heavy fried seafood, lohmee, hokkien mee & veggie. Loh Mee sauce had been nice not so heavy and noodle springy. Seafood cake was clean and good. Overall cost RM48 plus 1 jug of lemon organic tea. This definately isn't a vegetarian restaurant.

They serve ice cold honey lemon in jugs here! We'd 2 home specials: steamed clams in soup, mix fried eel with chili, vegetables and soup. The clams were really fresh and was nearly all delicious. The eel had been something new and attempted it for thefirst period. Extremely delicious certainly. Loved the meals and cherished the ice cool honey lemon!!

We ordered Loh Mee, the signature dish, Fried Beehoon with Braised Pork, Fish Cakes & Mix Fried Vegetable. The meals was awesome, among the best Chinese foods we've ever tried. Never to forget to say the part of the meals, it was extremelyHUGE!!!! We'd wasted a few of the food actually we've eight people. It had been quite definately not KL, but it will probably be worth to operate a vehicle to Ulu Lam Lama for the great food!

Found this eating place on the internet evaluation and went for a go. Totally surprised! It had been very good, the very best Loh Mee I've ever endured, the fried pork essential oil on top totally draw out the taste to some other level. We purchased Loh Mee andfish cakes with two beverages. The expenses emerged 20+ ringgit. We have been super full and pleased.

Delicious lor mee or braised noodle is definitely their specialty. There is also exotic will boar curry and braised terrapins that is only obtainable in some Restorans in Selangor. Steamed river fish can be acquired

Whenever one mentions Hulu Yam, the initial dish that makes brain is Loh Mee, that is a starchy with egg braised thick noodles. However, dining places listed below are not of resort and/or big dining places with great presentation. Dining places listed below are really for the meals. Certainly,Loh Mee was the primary dish to use. Other dishes ordered had been braised pork leg in claypot, mix fried veggie, fried soya noodles, and ginger fried with seafood cutlets. The Loh Mee is good, but might not be the best. Associated with every eatery in Hulu Yam appears to be doing a similar thing. So, flavor is depends upon individual and subjective. For fried soya noodles, it really is great, but soya noodles will not absorb gravy properly, hence it really is dry. Maybe must have ordered exactly the same but making use of vermicelli instead. Seafood cutlet fried with ginger is actually good and done well, and the braised pork leg inside claypot is merely okay. Overall is okay, like in palatable. Price sensible it is sensible as it is situated in somewhat an outback region. The restaurant also sells biscuits along with other tidbits that is displayed across the walls. They carry out have homemade soya bean milk, that is okay, but just a little watery though.

Right here for the Loh Mee and absolutely nothing else. Actually attempted the fried fishcakes as well. Fantastic! Probably the greatest Loh Mee up to now until I try additional restaurants here. This cafe also sell home-produced biscuits. Bought the peanut biscuits and you will be back for more.

We headed to Ulu Yam to possess our favourite curry prawns however the location was packed and we didn't desire to fight for the table thus we took the slow travel and chanced upon Swee Yen. We purchased their speciality Loh Mee, lala with broth, seafood cake and stewed pork noodles. I'm not really a enthusiast of loh mee but I enjoyed theirs. The broth has been solid and the noodles had been just nicely prepared. The steamed lala with ginger has been succulent and the stewed pork noodles had been nice too. Seafood cake has been a teeny little bit oily. Overall though it had been a satisfying lunch time. Bought some regional biscuits from a store down the row aswell.
