Had been here in transit to Langkawi from KL for two beers and dinner. The meals was tasty ad reasonable priced, the attraction being cool sea breeze and good sea views. 140 RM was the bill for just two people for beers, entrees andmains (no deserts)

Hai Thean seafood dining places serves among the best salted egg crabs i've ever eaten. Other meals such as steamed ocean bass, steamed clamsin lime fruit juice and cup noodles with prawns in claypot may also be worth mentioning. Portions are usually huge and prices are fair.That explains why the group will there be, night after night. Program is fast and helpful. Menu includes pictures so even though your are unfamiliar with chinese design seafood, ordering isn't a issue. The only real complaint i have concerning this restaurant may be the toilet and the overflowing bins which nobody appears to desire to empty it!

Short story: We were served overcooked and dry out steamed fish..so when we complained no-one did anything abt it and instead we were told that it’s been like this also to make an effort to eat it anyway. Long story: We hv been here more than5x inside past yr. Up till last go to, it had been pretty much ok..not probably the most consistent but if anything it had been at least affordability (can’t find eating place Chinese food in KL in this price range). This time around however, we were served steamed fish that was overcooked and dry by enough time it reached our table. We informed 2 various waitresses and eventually a guy from your kitchen arrived and said seafood was cooked. We described that seafood was overcooked and dried out. He acknowledged the miscomm and that has been it! Then just walked apart without a good simple “sorry”. We then complained to the girl who took our purchase (she’s great) but she apparently couldn’t carry out anything abt it else she'd hv been scolded by men in your kitchen..She apologized profusely but tried to persuade us to consume the steamed fish anyway (which right now really was dry coz it turned out about the burning charcoal the complete time). She went to your kitchen to try to talk with the cook but arrived afterwards and informed us that the cook said “It’s been like this”. It was NEVER such as this the few periods we’ve eaten this same dish here. Am surprised the Chinese restaurant will not take any pride inside its steamed seafood dish.. Obviously, we’re extremely dissatisfied and can not be back.

i have already been visiting this cafe since 2005 as yet 2020. The taste continues to be the same furthermore the portion of the meals. This gonna end up being my children compulsory restaurant whenever we gathered for vacation or special occasions.

We loved it. The cooking food is great. You will get Thai dishes here as well or thai-styled cooking. Cost is inexpensive. Lobsters were just RM60 per 1/2 Kg! Nice place by the jetty. Eating place is big and car parking will be ample. No stress!

The food was tasty and fast regardless of the amount of customers. We suggest the phat phet poultry, the gentle shell crab, the salad prawn and the fried ice lotion. The service nevertheless is significantly less than satisfactory. Despite the large numbers of employees around, I hadto actually stand up and maintain waving my arms to obtain their attention as much of them pretended never to notice me.
