Authentic home-cooked tasted meals is definitely golden and I could find it here! Visited Wau yesterday and it's really like I must say i found a concealed gem! We purchased their signature Muhibbah fixed (includes 5 main meals in a single bakul, 1 set helping for 4 pax),Pucuk Paku Goreng udang (mix fry fern with prawn. The best!), Chicken & Beef Satay (will need to have in Malaysia!), and Oxtail Soup. Specifically Ikan bakar in Muhibbah arranged is indeed good. The fish epidermis is crispy protected with bumbu kecap sauce. Sotong bakar and beef rendang in Muhibbah are usually best too. It has been long that I've not tasted such conventional and authentic Malay foods. Gonna bring my children here. Even though the area is really a bit dim however the ambience is fine. It's not such as a typical eating place. The ambience is comfy like home. Guess it is because the room isn't big with some common Malay decorations and components. Feeling very genuine and nostalgic. Gleam small kedai runcit created at one aspect of the walls. Childhood memory! Will certainly be backed.

We simply experienced the neighborhood Melayu cuisine in an exceedingly authentic method! We were therefore excited. It had been our first period to consume with hand. Around 8 Malay meals with basmati rice offered on lengthy banana leaf perfectly up for grabs. The desk wasfull of Foods! The Ikan Bakar had been incredible. Fresh, crispy & lovely. The lemongrass beverage was wonderful but I assume it will be easier to possess the Muhibbah with wines. Concerning the ambience, it appears like a dining area within your house greater than a restaurant. Properly my friends from regional were extremely amazed by the inside of the room. Very cozy and cozy area with some oldschool Malay tracks played along. It's worthy of to visit in the event that you would want a geniune Melayu experience. PS: We produced reservation earlier because of this so we need not wait too much time for the Muhibbah to end up being served. We did demand it to be offered on the table rather than helping in the bakul.

Quite a fascinating find in the center of Kuala Lumpur and being truly a KL boy myself and preferring to entertain visitors at resorts, WAU was a nice WOW for me personally and my visitors. A tastefully decorated outfit (can see right now the ID or Proprietor heading nutsover this deco) and a nice surprise with regards to choice of genuine malay cuisine and meals. Reasonably priced for this type of unique experience. An excellent place for town boy like me to create guests over to possess a "kampung" knowledge and for locals to possess some nostalgia considering the deco themed of older malaya.

Did not expect there is a room hidden in the bar. The very first thing that draws your interest will be how quaint the decoration is usually. Old college kedai runcit with some childhood candy that you probbaly can't think it is any longer, Malay kite hanging on the walls, wayangkulit, retro and vibrant plates and Malay design lanterns and lights - the area is a stroll back in time. Once the foods arrived, it didn't disappount either. Traditional Malay favourites guideline the menus. Whatever we purchase it was tasty and hark back again to nostalgic occasions. I wouldn't say it's the greatest I have ever endured, nonetheless it was certainly excellent enough. The surroundings, the support and the staff definitely enhanced the complete 'old is precious metal' experience. oh one guidance, make reservation prior to going.

This is not a large dining room and also through the week was filled with locals. The meals was excellent and affordable therefore was the beer. Astonished by the Malay inside and you can have the nostalgic in this little room.
