I remember back my teenage years, we'd frequent this road side eatery following a gut filling nights intoxication and bar hopping. It had been more often than not full with patrons anytime past 12am on the weekends. This is one particular joints where almostevery night owl will be familiar with since it was the only real non-Mamak eatery open past midnight. After more than a decade later, I made a decision to pay a visit as well as my wife following a night long movie marathon. The area was not even half full when we attained 12:30am. We thought nothing of it and went ahead to order our wan tan mee, one with char siew and another with Chinese mushrooms and chicken feet. We also ordered a serving of deeo fried dumplings and wan tan. As the deep fried stuff was nice and crunchy, one that why don't we down was the wan tan mee itself. Unlike good springy wan tan mee which are aplenty nowadays, this is soggy & over cooked. Quality appears to have taken a hit over time. Good! Now we are able to finally put this spot to rest.

Food is good generally. Price is quite reasonable, portioning is medium to small in order to try more dishes. The noodles generally a little salty and a little on the chewy side.

This place has been around business for quite some time. They only start business at night, following the car accessories shop has closed their look for your day, say around 6-7pm. This is a shared premise. In the evenings till night time it is somewhat difficult to acquire wantan mee stalls. They're the only one in your community, in the light industrial area. Hence they truly became popular. Ordered wantan mee with chicken feet (medium size), wild boar curry, char siew, shui gaow (dumplings), and braised pork with wood ear fungus. Overall the food is quite mediuore. The wild boar curry may be the consolation. Not cheap though, the purchase price we paid was MYR62. Parking is ample, as there are many parking space behind the shop.

Opens after 6:30 pm till night time around 3am. Includes a steady influx of customers. Recently the parking area has been extended at the trunk. Great types of wantan, prawn dumplings and chicken feet. Excellent place for a night time bite before heading home. Managedto maintain steadily its consistency of sinfully good wanton.

Following a late and sumptuous lunch in Goh Tong Jaya, nobody was thinking about another heavy dinner. Remember this roadside place which we used ahead for wonton mee. We'd wonton mee and yet another bowl of roast pork (siu yok). A pal hadwat kei mee (wonton mee with silky smooth steamed chicken). All dishes were good. Personally, i thought the char siu served was much better than Overseas Restaurant Jln Imbi (last evening). However the place is fairly pricey because of its humble environment.

High rating since it is hard to obtain nice wontan noodle during the night. I favor the noodle with standard ingredient likes wontan, vege and BBQ pork and steer clear of roasted pork since it not crispy and just meh. You can find other Hakka dishes like sour spicybraised pork, braised chicken feet with mushrooms etc. It located by the roadside, a lot of free parking available.

Last weekend, my buddy and I drove to Sg Besi because of their famous Wan Tan Mee. I suggested in their mind to test the "Curry Wild Boar Meat" (not commonly found) which really is a special treat for all those whom hadn't tasted it before. Itwas a significant treat for them because they was not there before. The thick curry sauce was sooo good and mouth-watering that leaves none of the curry sauce left by the end of the meal. It wasn't spicy but instead addictive. We ordered the Sui Kow (or Chinese dumpling). It had been deliciously filled with plump prawns and minced pork. We just ordered a little wan tan mee but made several small orders of side dishes to check the noodle. I had the mushroom with chicken feet wan tan mee soup broth. Actually that the chicken feet is filled up with collagen and gelatin included which was thought to make your own hair, nails, and skin glow besides improving joint health insurance and has anti-aging effects. We're able to not resist the sinful vinegared pork trotter. It had been another great side dish to enjoy. One word of caution when arriving to the shop, the shop is beside an automobile service workshop that is also next to the highway and it's a significant narrow turn to the parking lot. So, be considered a little careful driving in to the parking area. Parking is really a plenty behind the shop. The shop only opens after 6pm following the workshop closes. The shop closes pretty late in to the night (about 2-3 am). We'd definitely come again for other side dishes such as for example ginger duck, hakka stew pork and braised pork with black fungus. Our stomachs just couldn't ingest anymore.

The wanton mee with barbecued pork is crucial. The noodles are fresh and springy. And there's a generous filling of minced pork in the wantans. There are lots of side dishes to order to check the wantan mee. You can choose sui kow, sliced chicken meat, wild boar curry, braised meat, mushrooms, curry chicken, roast leg and pork leg. We just like the wild boar curry and mushrooms. Was indeed a wonderful outing here.
