I have always liked TWG for its quasi-private and quiet environment. The restaurant is very discerning in its choice of locations. While you may find its outlets in the middle of a lifestyle mall, you are assured that the area has less foot traffic and you enjoy some privacy. This TWG outlet was the meeting place for me and a good friend who I last met 10 years ago. We selected this place precisely for the reasons above. We know that here we will have the space to catch-up.The look and feel of the outlet is unmistakably TWG. The place followed the TWG design template to heart and not a single element was out of place. The service was also consistent with the TWG standard - it was refined, relaxed and efficient. The staffs had a certain demeanour to them which may not appear friendly but certainly very courteous. We were here for afternoon tea - not the full works with bells and whistles - to try pastries along with a choice of tea. We both ordered the 1837 tea set, with my friend choosing financier and scone to go with his hot tea and me ordering muffin and madeleine to go with my iced tea. I've been to TWG countless times in Singapore, Manila and Dubai yet I remained clueless of the different options. Luckily the staffs know their stuff really well. Each time I would describe the flavour profile that I want and the staff will make the selection. This time, I wanted something simple, fruity and refreshing. The iced tea recommended was spot on. It had berry flavour with hints of elderflower. Such a lovely taste. My friend also just asked for recommendation for the tea and he enjoyed what he got. The pastries were equally good - fresh and moist. For me the madeleine was a better pair for my iced tea than the muffin while my friend said the scone with clotted cream was a classic match for his hot tea.I liked this outlet because of nice location, superb service, good-tasting pastries and signature teas. I, however, appreciated it more because it gave me and my friend the space to catch-up without much interruptions. I highly recommend this place.

Nice environment to relax and chill. There have more than 100 type of tea choices for us to choose...but I always choose for jasmine tea :D especially the smell ~~~kinda enjoy it! Thus, I'm not understand that why can't refill tea ...because it's just can drink about max three cups only (a jar) @@

Food taste was okay. Plating presentation tip top. But the service given by the staff was horrendous. There was no smile, no thank you word, food served slow. Not what I expected coming here.

Went for afternoon tea. Set for two. Portion was good enough. Afternoon tea set came with teas. Creme brûlée taste excellent with the pairing of sorbet.
