Had some lunch time here: the meals was very tasty. Furthermore the inside was great, getting back many nice remembrances. Sonny is a great host. Also an extremely touching tale that the cafe is known as after the tribute to the mom who discovered him to make. She probably was extremely pleased with her son! Extremely recommendable to go to for food!

The sesame ginger chicken happens easily from the bones and sauce was tasty and eaten with white rice. Snacks Tiffin contains the Kerabu Ikan Bilis, Pork Bun and the Crimson Bean Soup. The pork bun had been yummy. Crimson bean, good not as well sweet.I pretty much tried Kerabu Ikan bills for the very first time, pretty good.Bok-Ni Kerabu. I would suggest all.

A concealed cafe that close to Hin Bus Depot (Hin Pop-up Sunday Marketplace). Delicious (very delicious) genuine Nyonya light foods with cozy, chill and relax atmosphere. They serve in set and do not worry about the decision of set. Cos the dog owner can cook perfectly.

We'd first discovered this small retro cafe this past year while searching for authentic Nyonya meals in Penang. Since that time we keep returning for more when going to Penang! Always excited for the different meals on the menus as their weekend break tiffin setchanges weekly. We tried a fresh menu recently. "Salted Fish, Prawn and Veggies Curry" tiffin fixed. The flavour is sensible and tasted so tasty! It is offered with Onion Omelette. Definitely essential try whether it's on the menus. We had attempted this Nyonya Curry in additional cafes and dining places but we find that is among the best to your liking. We virtually finished every single fall of the curry in the tiffin! We furthermore purchased their refreshing signature beverage "Tribute Special". Highly recommended once and for all authentic Penang Nyonya food and cozy modern retro ambience.

Stumbled into Tribute following a super hot time schelpping round the city. What a sweet find! Sonny the dog owner whipped up a tasty pork bun, fried rice, poultry wings, and a tasty cold fruit juice. I cleaned every plate, the meals was so tasty! His placeis super special and is a genuine tribute to his mother's cooking and design of decor. It had been heartwarming to observe how he created an area to seriously honor his mother's design. He also shared therefore many local travel journeys for me personally to consider when i traveling Penang for the very first time. Great 80s music, chill vibe, pleasant and prompt service. Great little alternative to road stall madness, that's for certain. In the event that you see this location along the right path, def stay in! Authentic therefore great!

Highly recommended! place, where items are clean from the marketplace, changing menu with 2 quality options rather than 20 and a proprietor, who's putting his interest into his place, you're to come here! That is whatI need a cafe to be!

As soon as you walk through the sliding doors in to the intimate space of Tribute, you’re transported back in its history. Tastefully similar to the 70s and 80s, you’ll end up amid Instagram-worthy surrounds. You’ll oftimes be greeted warmly by chef-proprietor Sonny, who’ll bring in you towhat’s on the existing menu. His can be an achingly beautiful tale of filial piety that resulted in the starting of the cafe to talk about the beautiful flavours of his mom’s Peranakan (nonya) cuisine. No information are usually spared in recreating the genuine taste offered up in nostalgic tiffin boxes. We purchased the nonya fried rice fixed, chicken rendang arranged, and yam rice established. It’s hard to choose a popular as each dish has been like a home-cooked food made out of love where just the best possible and freshest elements are employed. For a refreshing beverage, order the Tribute’s Exclusive that is an iced tea with the ideal quantity of nutmeg and mint to cause you to want to keep coming back for even more. (And we do!) If you’re searching for a place that’s real to the spirit of Penang, where period stands nevertheless and you also learn to decelerate and enjoy the tiny surprises that await you at every part, you won’t desire to miss this location. (Suggestion: Curious explorers should come out through the trunk door for even more surprises.)

This dinner planned to welcome my friends from Europe was a classic wonderful experience. Every little detail was investigated from the desk setting, welcome beverage and menu choice. Chef was therefore accommodating on the menus because of food allergy limitations. Foods was great. Highlyrecommended on both food and dining knowledge.

A private eating gem for vegans! So pleased to have discovered Tribute Private Eating that offers vegan choices for Peranakan cuisine. This gem is situated at a private house with lush greenery and the dining area was tastefully and elegantly decorated. The meals was delicious! Each and every dish was creatively crafted and beautifully presented. Tasty, authentic, healthful (plant-based wins!) rather than oily! Nice ambience, great foods and great company! We'd an amazing period at Tribute. Will certainly keep coming back for more. Many thanks, Chef Low.
