Ambience of location is nice & cozy. Employees service is good aswell. Food sensible, set your expectation they serve vegan/vegetarian. Meals looks freshly made, flavor wise I think could be improved. I furthermore feel the price will be slightly expensive.

Been there three times and never disappointed. The meals is all tasty with own characters - esp the mac & cheese and crispy roti canai. The home baked vegan choc cake can be an additional sweet treat. It’s always really packed and busy thus best toreserve the desk online beforehand. Try to choose very early lunch in order to avoid the crowd.

Found this place whilst searching for good veggie meals in KL. Happy to say it can be an total gem of a eating place. Incredibly chilled, somewhat quirky jungly vibe with uncovered brick wall coupled with neon indications and indoor plant life. Tables are properly spaced outso even though it really is at maximum capability it never feels unpleasant at all. The personnel were all excellent - excellent degrees of service, attentive without having to be overbearing, pleasant, polite from everyone who offered us. Also the tiny touches like inquiring whether we wish the burger lower into 4 parts to talk about. And the foods…my word it had been among the best vegetarian meals I’ve ever endured, and came speedily directly after we positioned our order despite coming to max capacity. We would recommend looking into The Hungry Tapir (would also recommend booking beforehand in order to avoid disappointment) - we’ll certainly be back again for more visits. Thanks a lot for a pleasant evening guys and continue the excellent work!

We were fortunate to occur upon the Hungry Tapir for a few drinks last Friday night time in Kuala Lumpur and we wished we'd spent longer there. The employees were attentive therefore friendly. We loved the decoration, the beverages were delicious, and the locationwas excellent. I'll come back here the next time we go to KL from London. Hungry Tapir, we like you. :-)

Two folks went for lunch about a Sunday. We'd reservations and had been seated quickly enough. The cafe was completely occupied and several were celebrating special events. The ambience and decoration was great, albeit even more touristy than anticipated for a normal lunch. The twomain courses we ordered were perfectly presented however the taste was 3/5 as voted by my lunch time companion and me. Not too bad, however, not great. However, the reddish colored velvet cake was outstanding and deserves 5/5. Weekend lunches listed below are highly popular for the attractively priced beverages specials (they contact it a "happy hr", albeit for just two forms of drinks) , orange fruit juice cocktails with either prosecco or even malibu. We were holding a allow down because they tasted similar to regular orange fruit juice than cocktails anticipated of a mixologist, deserving just 2/5. Overall, a reasonabley great lunch but on the price point just a 3/5.

Positives: - The meals! Who knew vegan foods could taste so excellent! - Ambience. Great for capturing. Negatives: - Service might have been much better. Our waitress appeared as if she did not desire to be there Tip: - Help make a reservation if you would like toget good chairs. They will have table and high desk seating.

Very fortunate to obtain a table for 6. Menu is filled with lovely dishes. We'd a selection of meals, Nasi Lamak,Jungle Laksa,Phish Cakes,Roti Cansl and also some cool beers and mocktails. Every dish had been delicious filled with flavour . Recommend and lookforward to heading back. Service was great and staff very helpful.
