They've changed their layout! The kaiten more longer than before and easy to reach within tables. They also have tablet for us to manually order and all sushi were served on Kaiten. It's a new innovation..

I have always interested in coming here whenever I feel like having Japanese food for the day. Why? Because this is the first place where my stomach got introduced to food which is odd but taste amazing (nah, I was exaggerating 😚). Nevertheless, I am currently adjusting my body to the wasabi and most importantly, I should get a tutor to teach me on how to use the chopsticks. 😅

The overall Sushi is OK. It's not that awesome, but this is one of the most affordable sushi shop in KL. It's a good idea to visit when you are hungry and need of a fast serve food.

I always order this Gran Tenpura Yaki Sakana Set. Because I love the grilled mackerel. They always do it very nicely. And this set is filling and satisfying as well. This sushi King branch is one of the best with attentive wait staff as well as fast service. Food mostly served in timely manner. I like it here very much.

I tried their restaurant in Miri, Sarawak, MY (Bintang Mall) and it has similar concept and layout with Genki Sushi in Plaza Senayan, Jakarta, ID. Wanted to try out sushi here and how fresh it would be.Food and beverages: 4/5I had Salmon Sashimi, Baby Octopus (Chuka Iidako), Unagi Nigiri, Tobiko Gunkan, and Ocha. Salmon sashimi was norwegian and highly fresh. The cut was not small, I was satisfied. Chuka Iidako was basically seasoned octopus but it just didn't sit well for me. The octopus was slimy and cold, the seasoning just wasn't right. Unagi Nigiri was good, unagi was tender and well-seasoned. Tobiko Gunkan is just your regular tobiko on top of rice. Ocha was refreshing.Pricing: 4/5Reasonable pricing but the taste was not that worth it. Sushi on the railing is priced based on its color.Ambience: 4.5/5The most distinctive feature here is the moving railing with pre-selected sushi on it that travels through every single seat here. You can just get the sushi off the railing right away. If your orders aren't displayed, you have to use the tab provided in the table and select your order. Once it's done being reviewed, it will be automatically sent to the chef and they will cook it for you. Tech savvy.Service: 3/5Waitress were slow and not very attentive. Not friendly either.Highlight: Salmon Sashimi for the food and watching the sushi pass by you every single second was quite entertaining!
