Really nice south indian food. Very warm staff. Indoor seating and outdoor seating. The thali was sufficient and very nice. The masala dosa was very good. Matches up to the taste to what you get in india. Pretty reasonable place too.

This place was recommended by a local for their roti and dosa. We ordered the ghee thosai, rôti canai, rôti telur and chicken tandoori. This was a very hearty meal and we thoroughly enjoyed the ghee thosai. Staff were very welcoming to us with genuine bright smiles. They also have live entertainment (singer) out the front at night which adds to the experience. Great food, great vibe, great value.

I recently spent 10 days in KL and Sri Paandi became my favourite and staple dinner restaurant. Should I have explored other cuisines in that city...???  The food in this restaurant is so tasty and authentic Indian. The atmosphere reminded me so much of my time spent in India..there was no need for me to go anywhere else. Peter Magyary         Australia

Great place for South Indian food. The veg thali is delicious, masala dosa and idli are filling and restaurant is clean! Reasonable prices too.

I have eaten here a number of times .The range of curries vege and non vege is quite substantial I lke that you choose what you want and add it to your plate and after they bill you all very reasonable including briyani fish curry fried fish seafood and meats. There was at least 15 types of vege too. They also make to order dosa. The food was fresh and tasty.

I didn't expect what I got from a restaurant rated 3.8. My veg meal was average, but it was the thosai which left a bitter taste. Burnt and probably made of unsafe batter, it was blackish brown outside and greyish inside. Wait staff don't know how to handle food safely.

For the first time ever, we felt unwanted and looked down upon.Literally the most disrespectful service we've ever encountered; which is a real shame as the food was quite good and very well priced for KL.Clearly didn't want us to eat there and any type of service was met with a minimal under the breath reply and a dirty look!Dissapointing considering it was rcommended

I saw this interesting Chettinad restaurant with a elephant logo while exploring the Bukit Bingtang area. I went in around 4 pm and so it was mostly empty and we were promptly attended to. The ambience was nice and the variety of South Indian dishes available here was also good.I ordered a Chicken Biryani [14 RM + taxes], 02 pieces Idiyappam [1 RM + taxes each], 01 Tea Panas [1.80 RM + taxes], 01 Milo Ais [3.50 RM + taxes], 01 Banana Leaf with Fried Chicken [15 RM +taxes], 01 Chicken Paratal curry [8.50 RM + taxes], 01 Roti Canai [1.50 RM + taxes] and 01 Orange Juice [5 RM + taxes]. The final bill was 54.40 RM along with taxes.Firstly the dishes I liked here are Roti Canai, Milo Ais, Banana Leaf and the Chicken Paratal curry. The Chicken Biryani was Ok but the Idiyappam and Fried chicken were not served hot and also I could not understand why the Roti Canai was served with out any dal or gravy curry to eat with. Secondly I did not like the Orange Juice at all, it neither had the freshness nor was it tasty.

The poori was average and the tandoori chicken they served me was completely raw in the middle. If I could give them a rating of less than 2 then I would.

This restaurant is pretty decent , budget friendly also the food is good. Though we are vegetarians , we didn't mind eating from this restaurant . We have had South Indian meals for 2 days , and had dosa , idly other items , all were good ! The fresh hot milk is a big plus from them , it stayed good without sugar in a flask for almost 10 hrs. Definitely worth it !
