Quite honestly, not all that. Initial impression walking in is good but a combination of mediocre service, uninterested staff and food prepared with little or no passion all add up to a disappointing experience for this website.

Upon entering, we felt like in a garage and expected it would be very noisy, especially as full on a week night... But as it turned out, they found us a table and sound proofing was good :) Food is fusion food, so quite original, if you are into that... We had a carafe of Cabernet Sauvignon from Chili: 90 Ringgit for 3 glasses and rather low key, which is not aligned with the image they are trying to convey. The menu changes regularly so we could not get the Truffle risotto which we had come for in the first place. We had a light dinner and cost was 130 Ringgit each, still cheaper than Marini's and other similar.

Love love love this place! Opted for the ala cart as opposed to the set meal they offered. The portion of food looks small but it definitely fills the stomach just nice with a little more space for dessert. I like that the atmosphere allowed space here for casual relaxation while enjoying good fine dining food. Staff were pleasant & service was great. Definite return.

Christmas Team Lunch !! A fine dining I guess.. But a day for us to visit this place.. !! Every member of team was super hungry and were left disappointed when the saw the quantity of dishes which we ordered. The taste was exquisite but had to leave the place half stomach filled. The rates were okay for the fine dining restaurant. Everyone went for one appetizer and one main course served with a drink.. 55 RM for 2 dishes okay, but quantity should have been more.. The place was neat and clean.. The staff was also very friendly !!A proper place for a date I would say if the crowd is less !!! Keep Hogging,Sanket / 1tablesp00n

My first experience of 'Masterchef'-style dining was at Skillet this week. What an incredible experience it was!Firstly, the service is wonderful. The staff are extremely well-trained and are very knowledgeable about the dishes. They offer to explain the dish to you as they bring it out, so you know what all the elements are and how they work together to make the complete dish.So much thought has gone into the preparation and presentation of all the dishes. Everything on the plate works together beautifully. I had the salmon starter, the pasta main and the texture of chocolate seasonal dessert. Words can't describe how fantastic everything tasted, and I loved the theatre of the dessert (the texture of chocolate is worth the extra RM just for the show!).Skillet is now going to be our regular stop whenever we are in KL. I could not fault anything about the meal; even the price, because it really is worth every penny!

The food was great. The quality was awesome. My husband and i had a great night and unforgettable dinner. The name tag was so cute and made by chocolate (tasty as well)

The food is nice even when there’s not that many people. Last minute booking for my wife’s birthday and they prepared everything magnificently, even the surprise dessert at the end.

Staffs here are good. U will get a small dessert as gift if u is lucky. Complimentary pumpkin soup just in Asian taste but Mango Lime Mocktail is not bad. U will get served for sky juice if u stay little longer after your drinks are finished.

Situated in Fraser Place in the heart of bustling Kuala Lumpur, Skillet@ 163  is a breathtaking Modern European Restaurant with an outstanding bar. The restaurant interior seamlessly combines contemporary design with comfortable furnishings to create a relaxed ambience. The open kitchen adds theatre to the dining experience, allowing diners to glimpse the technical mastery within.

This was the best meal I've had for a long time. It's fine dining with a modern relaxed atmosphere and reasonable pricing. The staff were knowledgeable , friendly and made the evening go great, but the star of the show had to be the food . We went for the 3 course option which is slightly cheaper than choosing seperate dishes but you still get choice of full menu. I went for the Tomyum starter which was delicious, but not what you would expect at all, done with a twist. The Lamb mains was melt in the mouth and the "toast" for dessert finished off a memorable feast. They will probably bring a couple of little complimentary tasters to your table also. Would heartily recommend.
