My sister, spouse and I were sensation peckish after getting to the amount of money changers previously this 30 days. We were on any occasion from the united kingdom catching up with friends and family. So she recommended this little restaurant, behind a Malaysian lifestyleboutique, KITA KITA in Damansara The result was among the best lunches we've had in KL. Actually authentic Malay meals with stunning ambience, and the very best part was the dog owner may be the chef. Siti, the Chef, was so helpful and cheerful that the clients there looked appear her friends! She's certainly become ours! The meals and the drinks, were food that reminded me of my childhood, likely to my Malay friends homes in Perlis as a boy, some 50 years back. Those were the times! I wish Siti begins a eating place in London , we are there everyday!!! Please, anyone, in case you are near Plaza Damansara and need an extremely good lunch or simply a light dinner don’t go somewhere else but to “ Siti Li Foods studio @ Kitakita”.

I really believe in giving credit score if it is due. I visited Sitili Meals Studio @Kitakita for Berbuka Puasa on Wesak Time yesterday, and everything (and I really do mean EVERYTHING) has been so so delicious! From the bite-sized cekodoks (that is the only method I wantmy cekodok today) to each major dish. My friends and We literally went "Oh my God sedapnya (delicious)!" whenever we took the bite of every dish served because of their Ramadan buffet. Priced at RM85 for each person, this week had been the Northern 7 days spread, so we'd a scrumptious serving associated with telur itik masak lemak cili api - spicy but therefore so excellent, nasi lemak, roti jala, udang masak sambal petai, lamb kuzi, rendang daging, laksa kedah, soto, amongst others. You need to pay 1 / 2 of your overall to protected your booking, or it is possible to pay in complete and get free of charge nasi lemak to collect with you :) The meals was so excellent I don't have images because I was as well busy attempting to stuff myself with an increase of food. Space is a small tight, though, since it is situated inside of KitaKita boutique. There's area for maybe 30-40 people or less. Therefore if you're likely to move during Ramadan, creating a reservation is strongly suggested. I'll be raving concerning this place to my close friends, and I wish to go again in a few days to sample the East Coastline spread. Loved loved cherished it!

    1. My business associate produced a prior reservation and had been sitted next to the main entrance door, feel therefore uncomfortable individuals in & out. 2.Can't even have a good conversation as an excessive amount of interruption of individuals moving in & from the entrance door. 3. Certaintime the primary door is held open and will be noisy outside with the heat and don't feel like sitting down in a air-con place. 4. To begin with, shouldn't have a desk for just two 2 person right next to the main entrance doorway of the cafe, is like attempting to increase the seating capability as the restaurant has already been so cramp aswell. 5.The restaurant look extremely posh, classy & nicely decorated. 6.Place purchase for set-lunch time Laksa Johor & Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng, informed the waiter to offered the hot drink afterwards but no focus on customer detail but was served alongside the warm water. 7.The presentation of the dish was nicely plated & the meals delivery speed was quite fast. Food flavor was good no comment. 8. Half way consuming, realised the ayam goreng had not been cooked on a particular part still natural with blood round the meats. Highlighted to the waiter for substitute and took about 15-20mins to find the replacement. 9.The waiting time was a touch too long to obtain a replacement and waiter apologised for the longer waiting time. Provide a free of charge dessert as service recuperation as is an excellent gesture. 10.We believe the eating place is shorthanded because the staffs has way too many items to handle through the peak hours. 11. I like the entire ambience and experience of the cafe, will definately get back to attempt other meals with friends & family. 12. The set-lunch time is affordability with the meals quality.

Been meaning to use this restaurant for some time as my partner had explained that ideal for local Malay foods. We resulted in on a active Saturday and despite waiting around a time the friendly proprietor found us a chair quickly. We purchased aSoto Ayam, Laksa Sarawak and a Laksa Johor. I must say i liked my Soto Ayam and ate it right down to the last drop. Others gave similar approvals with their dishes as well and we anticipate going once again. Friendly and prompt program made this an extremely enjoyable lunch.

I am deeply in love with the Siti Li's foods! Excellent local Malay meals that delight your tastebuds specifically the Laksa Johor, Sardine Puffs and the legendary Cekodok Pisang. I usually leave the area with my plates all cleaned up coz it's that good.Move try it, you won't be dissatisfied. But I do have to warn you they are really packed during lunch hrs, so far better try booking beforehand and show up promptly or wait around patiently in line to obtain a table. Their meals often ran out quick, a testament to how tasty they are!

The restaurant is clean and friendly. Primarily it serves delicious traditional local malay food. Even though prices are a small steep it was worthwhile. During lunch hr the place is quite busy therefore a reservation is to be able in order not tobe disappointed.

The meals tasted good. We'd Laksa Sarawak and Laksa Johor and Nasi Cowboy (or some variation on the spelling) and some smaller dishes. Very first the nice part. The flavor was good. Sarawak Laksa had an excellent black pepper flavor and was solid. JohorLaksa had all of the correct condiments (like the pickled radish) and had been fragrant and thick. Nevertheless the demonstration has been lacking and Johor Laksa isn't a soup- rather this is a spaghetti dish with a heavy curry spiced seafood gravy. Instead they thought we would be inauthentic and assist it in exactly the same dish as Nyonya Laksa. Perhaps this is a Singaporean factor? (Johorians don’t do that). Possibly the clientele is likely to be not really acquainted with food from the few hundred miles apart? Portions weren't large for the purchase price, a watch watering RM 27 for the bowl. A few of the appetisers very small. On the opposite aspect of the spectrum the Tapai (Sweet fermented glutinous rice in this version) had too many packets (6 roughly when nearly all mortals can only just handle 2) and needed quite a few evaporated milk. We had been puzzled by the palm sugars from Batam Island. Is one able to tell? Should we treatment? In a nutshell - food decent, display not reliable, portions occasionally too large sometime too little, price too high.
