Wide variety of Japanese cuisines including sashimi, sushi, Ramen, don, teppanyaki, nabeyaki, tempura, kushiyaki, and other grilled items. I wonder how they fit so many ingredients in such a small shop.

This is a best izakaya in town. Enjoy freshly grilled kushiyaki and icy cold beer. All the food goes well with alcohol. Besides beer, they serve a wide variety of sake, sochu, wisky and wine.

Salmom sashimi: very thick cut and value for money. Salad: very refreshing salad with their homemade sesame dressing. The sesame dressing brings out the freshness of the vegetables.

overall for my experience, i'd not come back to this place again.. first of all, the maguro isnt fresh.. secondly they told me they are out of salmon and gyoza.. they should have better inventory.. the only nice food we had were the garlic fried rice, yellowfin sashimi and unagi sushi

Most serious Food poisoning in our lives (viral infection) for many days and no action taken to compensate us despite contacting management and talking through with them. Avoid this place at all costs.

I was recommended by a Japanese expatriate to try this Robataya in Publika. I will say the food is superb esp the fresh sashimi. Love the butterly taste melted in the mouth whenever i sink my teeth on the fresh produce.. The salmon Oyako salad is another must try..  We enjoyed eating the Akaebi Olive & the kushiyaki with the refreshing Suntory beer & Umeshu.. The Kyushu Ramen is another slurping dish that i enjoyed.. Will be back for more as i didn't get to try all in the extensive  menu within a day..

This restaurant was recommended by my schoolmates quite some time ago, finally i have a chance to try the food here.. First of all, i am not a sashimi lover, anyhow when the 1st bite on it, it is so fresh n delicious.. From the sashimi will know the food quality.. Besides that, the grilled meat n seafood is tasty n juicy... will definitely come back again coz there is an extensive range of menu... can't wait to try the rest :p

We walked into this restaurant while exploring Publika cos we thought it'd be nice. The service from the foreign workers were nice, but then:1. We got a terrible diarrhoea and was bed ridden from one of their dishes. Bed ridden and had to cancel our work. 2. Consider this a warning - do reference an article at the Star at www dot star2.com/health/wellness/2017/05/28/three-in-five-migrant-workers-have-worms-and-many-handle-our-food/ that refers to 3 out 5 migrant workers carrying worm parasites in their body, which could pass to you while they prepare your food (think worms swimming in your intestines and stomach area) article stated that 20% of Malaysians exhibit no symptoms despite having worms in their abdominal area. 3. Long story short, we took them to court and despite with medical records, the restaurant manager had the thick face in 2 court sessions to tell us many times that their food was okay - given the fact that both of us ordered the same dish and had eaten the same dish in Japan many times but nothing happened to us. The restaurant manager didnt seem to be at all apologetic4. Think of what could have happened if you took your pregnant wife and/or an elderly family member and gotten yourselves into the very same thing? They may be rushed to the ICU (in all seriousness). ....Consider yourself WARNED.

Tsukune (RM5), Chicken Heart and Liver??, can't remember which one I've ordered, but they all did not taste like the ones in Japan... Sadly. It was rock hard for all I remember. Banana Bacon (RM6) would have been much better if it's grilled a little longer. Likes: Convenient...? Fresh sashimi cuts.

Nira Leba Itame (Stir-fried pork liver with kuchai and bean sprout). There are only a hand full of Japanese restaurants which are brave enough to serve this dish. This is not an easy dish to prepare. The size of the cut is important, too small cut and it will be burnt easily. The time of cooking is also important, fry too long and it will become chewy or rubbery. Robataya at Publika surprisingly did the dish just nice. Soft and juicy in the centre and slightly burnt on the outside for me to taste the 'wok fire'. Of course it is best to go with their draft beer, heaven! Other dishes to go with the icy cold Suntory premium malt draft beer: beef karubi teppan (stir-fried beef with miso paste and served on hot plate), asari garlic butter (stir-fried Japanese clam with garlic and butter). This is definitely the best izakaya in town.
