Once the main stream media propositionally sensationalize and positively blow flying high up big soap bubbles on restaurants, I bet the majority of us tend to get overly enthusiastic with it. Okay, I’m no better. I ensure it is a point to learn a lot of the printed media food reviews and, I’m akin on roller blades in attempting to try the restaurants too. EASILY am not mistaken, per year back I find out about Kayra Taman Tun and from there on, this Kerala restaurant has been sashed in my own spilling over pending set of food venture. But as usual, what I anticipate and where I actually find yourself may be the ball juggling game of my entire life. Instead of going to Kayra in between the entire year, I actually finished up at the real-deal-real-time Kerala (Kerala Day 4 & 5) where I must say i indulged within their highly discussed cuisine. Thumbs up. Kerala food won my heart big style. Fresh water/sea catch, freshly grounded spices and generously packed with fresh coconut milk and coconut oil. As they say aswell, Sri Lankan cuisine (Colombo Sri Lanka) has bountiful bags of commonness to the centerfold food of South Indian state of Kerala and I, sorry people, I understand self-praise is not any recommendation, I can’t help but mention that I'm armed-locked with several good years of hands-on experience in cooking numerous kinds of Indian and Sri Lankan curries especially (Mackerel Fish Puttu, Kerala Sardine Curry, Claypot Sri Lankan Fish Curry & Banana Flower Stir Fried With Spices). Yuh-Uh!

Was craving for Indian Cuisine and were brought here. We ordered shredded chicken with rice cake, dry curry prawn, chicken curry, chapatti and white rice. Very abundant with curry flavor and the spicyness was nicely done! Satisfying and fulfilling dinner. We would have to vary our menu choices so then we cud actually benefit from the curry flv better on certain dish. Staffs are friendly and the ambience was good and calming. Should come back to try other menu!

A perfect place to go through the authentic Kerela cuisine. Food quality is incredibly good with each item having an urgent taste. I visited this restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at Bangsar Village.

I had the special puttu and beef roast among the favourite dish of any malayalee. This restaurant serves the very best kerala food in KL and they're very true with their promise. The staff and services may also be very friendly and an ok ambience with the wall texture of boat race in kerala invokes the keralite feeling within. The explanation for my 3 star rating is basically because the costs were little high which was among the expensive puttu i had in my own life.

Menu shown here and at the shop will vary with higher price. shop open at 11:30 and at 2:30 telling rice is completed and have to hold back for 20 minutes for waiter to take order. because of no crowd waiter are sitting in table and talking in lunchtime. Small tea stall is preferable to this restaurant.

Purely accidental find for all of us. I’m glad they’re within KL at last. A straightforward, but delicious Kerala cuisine. The simplicity of the menu made the knowledge a nice one with explosion of spices taste!

Amazing food and really nice service. Found this place accidentally 1 day and having eaten here several times, I found both food and service consistent. Loved the Idiyappam, Appam and Avial. Burnt Coconut Ice Cream was delicious. Would visit again!
