The executive / head chef is from Thailand, hence the meals is pretty authentic. Think this is actually the only location that you can obtain the salted glowing blue crab som tam salad in KL. Well, predicated on my experience up to now. The costs are reasonable. Trafficand car parking is really a challenge, and the area is normally packed, so anticipate to await a table. They'll take your order when you wait, when a desk becomes free, your meal can come soon after - rather than ordering only once you get a seat. Pros - good meals, decently priced Downsides - crowded, hard to obtain parking on weekends

I visited the restaurant with several buddies. We brought a 3kg catch the chef to prepare 2 styles, strong fried and steam. As starters, we'd keang nam and mango kerabu. For the primary, we had fried longer bean with pork, prawn with bitter gourd, serious fried poultry, fried and steamed seafood. Fresh pandan beverage and coconut beverage were served. The meals was authentic and yummy. I would suggest the cafe to anyone who would like a flavor of home-cooked Thai foods.

The food here's nice and instead affordable. Even though the area was packed whenever we arrived, our meals and drinks came very fast. Selecting food available is wide. By the crowd as of this location, you cannot fail by choosing thisplace to get a meal.

Food was great. The area clean. Fast and helpful service. We had apparent tom yam with prawn cup noodles. The cup noodles was the very best. It provides gingery, peppery taste, sufficient reason for unique soy sauce managed to get classic. It had been cooked as well as squid.

Lately we hosted our company's dinner at A Wet Thai Cafe and thrilled to see probably the most authentic Thai cooking by way of a team of Thai Chefs. The authenticity obviously originated from the cooking abilities and knowledge of Thai cuisines once the chefs areoriginated from Thailand itself . Both cooking and services are commendable , especially the ever smiling Thai owner, Mr. Prawet . Dishes that i personally recommend are usually Laab Moo ( aromatic minced pork), baked cup noodles with prawns, BBQ pork ribs, spicy steam seafood with pickled lemon, crispy trotter, fried fish or even prawn cake dumplings , pandan poultry, Tom yum , Kaeng som ( stew spicy n sour broth with Cha Om leafs) and fried spicy pork or even poultry with kafir leaf. Check it out next time , incase you're in Cheras or searching for real Thai dishes . G. David

Strange name and may end up being mistaken with the another Awet Thai foods restaurant elsewhere inside KL. Situated in the casing estate of Yulek or Taman Cheras therefore many individuals living around. It had been a fairly long wait to obtain a desk and for thefood ahead, esp without reservation, Chinese New Yr period (more eating dinner out) and raining. Cooking area had been overwhelmed at one time period (in accordance with owner who was simply apologetic). The wait was nevertheless surprisingly worthwhile. The seafood Tom yum has been tasty (combine an purchase of 3 single purchase if you would like, enough for 5). Several vegetables were already sold-out, but we loved the original fried kang kong that was crunchy and spicy aswell. The Thai fried egg with onions had been interesting and tasty as well. The prawn fritters and prawn cake had been in our opinion regular, but very appropriate. We wish we'd more stomach area to use more dishes specifically the pork ones. Service staff has been attentive but do move early if you prefer a table. may need to wait at well-known meal instances esp if it rains. They're helpful once you obtain attention. This despite getting an upstairs seating region. No hot beverages served though, greatest is room temperature drinking water. So the next time in KL we shall certainly come once again to use other dishes.

Early evening dinner just before it is filled up with dinners. Had bloodstream clams-very great, steam squid-average, heavy fried offal-no no, fried pork slices-salty, tom yum soup-good, broccoli-good. A few of the meals were tasty however, not out of this planet. The mango with glutinous rice and coconutcream has been a disappointment. Without seeming ungrateful, eating spicy meals within an air condition eating place will be more comfortable.

Foods so thus, not necessarily authentic Thai taste. The costs were increased and over rated aswell compare to this past year. 5 dishes can simply cost around rm250 without seafoods yet. Personal thought - Not worthy of to try.
