I came here constantly for lunch time with my hubby. The restaurant acts bak kut teh, steamed tilapia, duck with ginger, stewed pork with preserved mui choi, and, needless to say, the rice with mustard veggie (jie cai). Their Pak kut teh differs from others becausetheirs will be pepper soup base. In the event that you feel like to eat much less meat, veggie pot with pepper soup can be a good choice.

The signature pepper Bak Kut Teh is indeed flavourful and taste so excellent. Fragrant rice with mustard greens (福建芥菜飯) is crucial try, it's so tasty that you can also eat it without the accompanying dish. The egg with rice wines is so wealthy tillwe sensed like we are obtaining drunk. Traditional Chinese cafe, clean environment and great, friendly service.

They serve a distinctive design of Bak Kut Teh, pepper soup base. They also have other signature meals such as for example Ginger Duck, Braised Pork, Salted Chicken, Chinese Wine Chicken. All are affordable and delicious. The service can be friendly and fast.

A long time ago, this place might have been great. Those times are longer past. The well-known pepper soup bak kut teh tasted just of one factor - MSG - and my palate cried out for drinking water after having a few of this in any other case bland broth. These were extremely stingy with the mustard greens within their fragrant rice with mustard greens, but at the very least this dish carried some flavour with it that wasn't MSG. As this is a no frills eating place, I didn't expect significantly in the form of service but We also didn't expect anywhere near this much rudeness from older people lady responsible for the area. I gather this location has a tiny popularity but, at this stage, it seems they're residing off past glories. It's two hrs after my dinner here, I've drunk near a litre of drinking water and I'm even now thirsty. Avoid this location.

Coffee shop atmosphere rather than restaurant. Food is great. Enjoyed their special dishes of rice. Specific ginger chicken only offered by weekends. Liked the Bak Kut Teh. Not huge enthusiast on the spare parts

Very traditional older Chinese restaurant inside Salak South. It provides 2 sections with and without AC. The claypot belancan vege fragrant damn great and taste good as well. The blended vege rice abit oily, the pepper soup foundation bak kut Teh much less great as Singaporetype. I assume Bak kut Teh in herbal soup bottom still the very best in Malaysia.

We have 2 individual BKT and only 4 bits of rubbery extra ribs with an excessive amount of pepper soup. The steamed chicken with wine has miserable pieces that probably summed around one drumstick.Steamed fish mind a little salty and not as effective as other dining places.Bean sproutwith salted seafood only 3-4 spoonful.Stewed pork leg along with vinegar also typical.Overall, we returned after a long time of offering it a miss due to the TV show Flavor with Jason the other day.Looked like not absolutely all Jason's recommendation are usually up to mark.

My children has been having normal dinners here for days gone by 24 months with delight. Basic and traditional house styled Chinese food offered in a no frills placing. Program is basic but helpful. The fragrant rice with chopped mustard green is really a signature dish thatis done so well that people can eat it alone. Another may be the pepper soup bak kut teh (pork ribs and organs in organic soup ) that is among our favourites. Soup could be replenished on demand. Mix fried pork intestines with dried shrimps is the greatest that we have consumed. There are many other conventional old period favourites like braised duck with ginger, steamed pork tummy with preserved mustard cabbage, glutinous rice wine poultry and steamed fish. I'm delicate to msg (monosodium glutamate ) in food but in no way once as of this place. There is no service charge nor product sales tax. Only cash obligations here. Prices are realistic too.

The white pepper bak kut teh is indeed good that you'll sure keep coming back for more. Also their other meals are amazing, never to overlook friendly staff too!
