We were here for chinese new season eve reunion dinner thus can only just order from the collection menu available. Therefore, we found the fixed slightly pricey. Having said that, the high quality of the meals was generally excellent and fresh and we'll consider comingback again. Ideally the pricing is really a bit more fair during non CNY reunion supper period!

New Oversea Restaurant several shops away from the initial restaurant inside Imbi, specialising inside dim sum & hotpot. The dim sum in no way disappoint! Every meals are finely made & tasty. Prices are reasonably higher but acceptable. Assistance is good too.

Ate here tonight. Totally blown away. Most likely the greatest dim sum i've acquired, and i've experienced a lot! We'd the Xiao lengthy bao (the meats was amazing, the soup broth exceptional, and the splash in the mouth area..wow), the har kow, siao mai, pan frieddumplings, and salt pepper mushrooms. I am hoping to return tomorrow!!!!!!

As a normal of mom restaurant Overseas Restaurant several doors aside, I was quite disappointed. No question it was so peaceful when I visited. Compared to various other dim sum sites, expensive and poor. Not returning.

Not really your typical steamboat environment where fresh seafood generally is steamed to perfection best before you with a boiling pot of porridge. We permitted the Chef to accomplish the suggestions and we weren't disappointed, lobster & clams has been as refreshing as itgets as the dumplings had been tasty and tasty. Ended everything with a plate of porridge with all the current goodness from the steamed seafood. Just a little pricey, but really worth it.

It’s a good space and the support is efficient, but those that remember Oversea’s Dim Sum at Main Market (it’s in the past!) will undoubtedly be sorely dissatisfied. The indicators of high quality are usually Har Kau and Siew Mai (for the novice:) Har Kau will be aprawn dumpling in a translucent pores and skin that needs to be fine and sensitive. In a eating place of Overseas’ position there must be a complete, firm and somewhat crunchy prawn in each dumpling. Fail on both counts, I’m scared. A solid and starchy epidermis with cut prawns inside. Siew Mai is really a minced pork dumpling with a yellowish/green skin that's open at the very top (think pill container without lid), in which a small roe decorates it. The mince should be highly flavourful rather than too fine, not as well chunky and there should not really be any gristle inside it, therefore the gristly, flavourless factor we were served had been another epic fall short. Chee Chung Fan once again has been starchy and heavy, showing too little finesse unexpected in a cafe whose large sister just a couple doors later on dishes up such stunning fare. Musty tasteless veggies, dense char siew pau and your final plate of “special” heavy fried mushrooms that appeared more like a bowl of fried dough without the shrooms finished our disappointment. Dim Sum are meals allegedly served to the going emperor disguised as the commoner. This, unfortunately had been for the stableboy, not the emperor.

Good food, pleasant service at an acceptable price, this place is quite favored by the locals and taking walks distance from the hotel Park Royal corner of Imbi and Jalan Sultal Ismal

I must say i felt like having dim sum for lunch time. Unfortunately another Oversea restaurant in exactly the same road doesn't present it, which we just discovered after arriving. Therefore we just chosen 2 lunches rather - one at each. That one may be the correctchoice for dim sum - all of the standard choice offered and quite tasty as well. Don't expect them to talk much English. Additionally you want to specify you want your dessert to reach following the meal - in my own situation the mango sorbet arrived because the first item!
