went to Nizza on the Sofitel hotel in aug 29 in line with the reviews. Had the next San pellegrino - 29RM Fresh pineapple juice- 18RM Butternut squash soup - 26RM seafood grill 188RM BBQ beef brief ribs - 120RM Total bill 406RM for just two 2 peopleHad higher expectations for the supper however they were not met. The atmosphere is quite good, the decor is quite nice, vivid environment. The personnel was mindful of take our purchase (asked three times by 3 various staff) but much less attentive for various other requests because they did not talk to each other. The meals presentation is excellent, making you anticipate similar foods experience. unfortunately, this is not our experience. The butternut squash soup lacked zip and was sweet. The buttery squash flavor emerged through bt there is an overwhelming flavor of sugar that managed to get less than pleasant. The BBQ beef short ribS was actually one rib and the meat needed to be torn off the bone with significant effort instead of falling from it like others I've had. The meats lacked flavor and the gravy has been sub par, Because of this cost, I would at the very least expect a fantastic gravy (easy to accomplish) but this is not the case. The seafood grill was equally disappointing with the lobster portion being truly a half portion and basically a little crawfish (10 cm longer) rather than a lobster. The seafood had been just OK, that is unacceptable because of this price. In summary, excellent location although we were disturbed by patrons (they seemed to know the employees) standing up about 2m from our desk loudly speaking and laughing for ten minutes without thing to consider of surrounding visitors. The food presentation is fantastic but must be supported by high quality and it is not there. Unfortunately, we shall not return.
