Pizza oh pizza. How could one go wrong and Mikey's definitely didn't! (with their savoury pizzas at least)I went with my boyfriend to try it and the savoury pizzas were HEAVENLY. I tried the BBQ chicken and my boyf decided to get the signature and they were beyond good! We also got the waffle fries with the cheese and gravy and it was pretty good (although it was pretty expensive for fries)Overall, the savoury food scored a 4/5NOW, here's what pulled them down from getting a 5.The rainbow pizza was the number one reason I went and when I saw it, BOY WAS I EXCITED. Being a visual website and avid snapfooder, the beauty of it made me so happy but the taste... Okay I, for one, am not the biggest fan of honey. In fact, I hate it and the rainbow pizza incorporated cheese, honey and whipped cream.... One to each's own flavour but personally I HATED it. Pretty to look at and take pictures but boy... the flavour just threw me off.And also, if you would like to go I do not recommend going on really hot days or in the afternoon because it is really really hot despite the fans.

Our most fave pizza in town. From their classic tony soprano or classic NY cheese to 911 the spiciest. Cookies pizza also nice. Don't forget to enjoy their half and half drinks (the mix between lemonade and tea).Located in hip Bangsar area.

I first visited Mikey's with my sister early 2016 and since then, I'm always finding an excuse to visit them. Yesterday, I went to have a late lunch with a friend. Being Jalan Telawi, it was impossible to find a parking at 2-3pm so we parked at Bangsar Village II. It was understandably empty when we got there so we immediately got to browsing the menu. I decided on the plain cheese slice and my friend had the meatball slice. My friend got one of the upgrades and added Brooklyn fries and a Coke. You have to order at the counter but they will bring you the pizza to your table. On previous visits, I've had the Tony Soprano, the buffalo chicken, the mushroom and the meatball. As you can see, I'm working my way through their menu and for good reason because everything is so good! Your slice will always come hot to the table. I absolutely love their crust and their sauce. The bottom is crisp and there's a satisfying chew to the crust. The amount of sauce on the slices is just perfect, not too saucy, not too dry. Everything on the pie is just so well balanced. They are generous with the toppings (meatball is A++++) but not too much that it slips and slides off the crust. Depending on what you order, their pizzas are also less greasy than your average Domino's. I've never had a New York slice in New York but I hope Mikey's comes close since I can't afford an impromptu NY trip.Ambience-wise, it's a casual set up with pictures of New York memorabilia on the walls. There's an alfresco/smoking area outside. It's a nice place to chill out friends and also family. The price is a bit steep (RM9.95 for the plain cheese slice, RM13-15+ for the Tony Soprano, the 9-1-1 etc.) if you were to compare Mikey's to fast food but it is money well spent. I mean, their sandwich bread, pizza crust, sauce and meatball are made in-house! You can't get that from a fast food chain! I would personally recommend the Philly cheese steak sandwich, the meatball pizza and the mushroom for the vegetarians. Keep up the good food, Mikey's!

Food: The dough that they use was pretty chewy and there were no options in terms of the dough. Not saying that they were bad, but it get's tiring after a while lol. Had the hawaiian pizza (I think) and it was alright, I love anything that has pineapple on them. And the Classic New York Pizza, which was just cheese and tomato sauce, wasn't bad, I kinda like it. Wasn't a big fan of the Spicy Shrimp Pizza and the Boneless BBQ Chicken, weren't too good imo. Service: You have to order at the counter, so read up the menu and order it there. Food came out quick, but they weren't warm. Ambience: Since you have to order at the counter, you're able to see the kitchen up-close. And the kitchen wasn't nice looking. A good place to try tho, but I'm sticking to Domino's. Lol

My second visit and I love the pizza they make with no mayonnaise. Plus they have oregano which is unlikely to be available in this city. BBQ chicken and classic American pizza is highly recommended.

Don't think it's fair to compare with the kind of pizzas you get in America, maybe due to the quality of cheese & ingredients available there. Otherwise it's ok

The best pizza you can get in town! It's expensive but totally worth it. I would strongly recommend the BBQ Chicken Pizza and Cliffs Philly cheese steak.

Yummy pizzas! Love the Classic New York one. Can’t go wrong with that. Simple yet delicious. Tried the Wild mushroom one before but being a mushroom fan even, I didn’t find it particularly amazing. It just tasted like loads of mushrooms dumped on pizza with no ‘wow’ factor to it. The crust of the pizza was too hard and difficult to bite into. Apart from that it was good! Tried the pesto pasta but wasn’t impressed. Too much pesto sauce that it appears somewhat ‘soupy’ rather than creamy. Good portion, but needs work quality wise.

Went with my boyfriend for a late lunch plus early dinner. Ordered The Tony Soprano, Buffalo Chicken, The 9-1-1 pizzas and also the Boneless Buffalo Chicken. Out of all, I only enjoyed The Tony Soprano one, even tapau-ed another slice to take back home. Others were not to my liking. The 9-1-1 pizza was sooooo spicy I almost called 9-1-1 (kidding!). The decoration in the restaurant was nice but it was a bit hot in there. Do I want to come here again? Ermm, maybe.

The four cheese pizza is the bomb diggity! Service and ambience isn't anything to write home about but their pizza hits a sweet spot. Pasta dishes aren't my first few recommendations for this joint though.
