The food was 3/5 for taste but 4/5 for the portion of it. Prefer on not to order the salmon since it’s too dry for my liking and lack of gravy and moisture on fish. Ambiance and service is great even so we have to line up for a few minutes because of the long queue,all and all I gave it 4/5 for the ratings!!*highly recommended if you’re planning to go on a date on not to go during weekend since it’s a bit packed.

The price is not expensive.. the taste is soo delicious.. very cozy and instagrammable..i order 1 slice cake : salted caramel.. thats so gooood !the place is near chinatown area and very closed with bun choon egg tart..i will come back to this place when holiday.

Nice hidden place with cozy ambiance. My friend and I agree that we like it from the moment we enter this place.We have lunch and plan to get cake for dessert, but our stomach are already full with main course.Definetely will come back to try their coffee and cake

Found this hidden gem in China town. Kinda hard to find because the shop is upstairs. Definitely no regrets eating here. The food is unique with the western and asian fusion. Not only it was unique but the taste goes well together and packed a punch. The price for the food.. I'd say worth it for the price although slightly expensive for those on a budget. Some food on the menu is good for two tho. I definitely recommend the kai fan, south china sea, the burger, breakfast and the pasta with buttermilk chicken. For those who love those instagram spots in kl, this is one of those for the gram old but good aesthetic spots.

This Iconic cafe was on.our to-do-list for the next visit as we wanted to.try the very authentic food from the Malaysian cuisine. Very soon, we realised, Malaysia's breakfast culture is no different from the usual lunch and dinner since its all about Nasi Lemak, Roti Canai, etc thus, allowing our palate to pursue fusion food offered by this place.Merchant's Cafe, which is bang opposite to Four Points By Sheraton, in a very culturally rich and traditional area of Kuala Lumpur, scores an ace on food flavors and coffee too.Espresso was one of the finest ones we have had in KL.But then, there were things which ordered were stupendous like the Rose Milk with Honey, Nasi Leak served with Coconut Pan Cakes and The Cheezy (yes, you read it right) Dhal with Poached Egg served with Roti Canai.Rating is sufficient enough to describe our experience and thus, we will save the time on describing things.Service is quite laid-back and required for travelers like us. This is a place where you order and pay first and then you are served.Vegans and Vegetarians would not have too many options does not mean they don't have anything to offer.It is definitely not to be missed.

Had a burger call taukay, the beef is just okay not very tender and not juicy too, the swiss cut fries is also so so, but the peanut sauce combine with the beef patty is quite an innovative idea I guess? it is a brand new taste that shock my tongue for quite a while but you will feel a bit bored abt the stong taste after a few bites of the burger. The coffee over there doesn't suit my taste well, the coffee bean they use is quite sweet but the foam of the latte is pretty nice and just enough. In addition, the decoration over there is pretty innovative and a bit retro style so it is a great place for internet influencer to take an Instagram picture over the. Besides the staff over there is all very friendly and it seems like they treat each other like family instead of co-workers especially the boss who is a kind young man who has many ideas and quite handsome too! A very nice hidden place to eat in KL. The ambience is really chill and it's instagram worthy. The price was good as it's not that pricey because the food's portion is really big. Me and my friend really cant finished it. For the food, the salmon i eat was too dry but the other was good. The burnt cheesecake was really good as it's my favourite. The drink was nice and it's suite with my taste

The signage is way too small - if you walk so fast, you might not even see this restaurant at all.The restaurant itself is in the 2nd floor, very instagrammable with the vintage hype.I ordered the fish rice, with sauteed veggies on top and fried dory fish, sunny side egg and sambal. The portion is huge and very fulfilling. The taste is also awesome, you won't regret.For the beverage, I ordered the Ice Caramel Latte, that definitely not that sweet, which is very similar to my taste. Super!My friend ordered Better Than Sex for the dessert. It contains pandan roti jala and 2 portions of ice cream. Very fulfilling and sweet!!!Love this place a lot, will come here again for next round!
