You need to try real local indian food? You then need to attempt the "Mamak" areas around KL. This have become interested places and incredibly cheep where one can have lunch, supper as well as breakfast. What's interested about this location is the proven fact that the things doesn't constantly knows english just what exactly you will oder might not be everything you receive, or things may be lacking from the purchase or receive some additional goodies. The meals is great, is cooked with plenty of palm oil, therefore i don't recommend to consume each day here. For instance, every Monday I've my lunch time in the Mamak next door from Menara UOA, Bangsar. The meals here's spice and the meats is mainly poultry or vegetarian. My preferred dish is Butter poultry with Cheese Naan. My preferred dish in the night time when I move clubbing will be Cheese Naan with Susu. In order to attempt how Malaysia preferences, you should eat at least one time at "Mamak". P.S. The area was lately renovated, and the program now could be better and faster.

This is actually the first place I had my first lunch time in after my arrival in KL :) They did close down at one point and reopened with a complete new facelift. My co-workers phone calls it the Paris Hilton of Mamaks. Yes, it really is pretty pimp :) I'm not a huge enthusiast of the neighborhood foods much, mainly result in my stomach can't deal with to a lot spicy but I really do adore the biryani and their tanduri poultry. The meal is quite large in fact it is just RM11. It is correct across Menara UOA therefore lunchtime is extremely occupied. It is extremely convenient because they are open just a little later after that other places around therefore i do find yourself stopping at least once weekly or so. They will have tables outdoors if you prefer to stay the humid climate or KL or yo can elect to proceed inside where you can benefit from the chills of AC. In all honesty, following a full day in a workplace with AC blasting, outdoors doesn't seem like this type of bad choice. Bon Appétit.

When I first surely got to KL, everyone was discussing Mamak foods and how just about all my colleagues actually mind there for meals! I've experience Mamak therefore often now but each time I consume it, I regret it later, my abdomen cannot handle indian foods, particularly if it's spicy and very honesty about 90% of it really is. it's hilarious when I request the staff in case a dish will be spicy plus they say no it isn't then they take it out also it burns like hell :D I was informed by a buddy that either they don't really understand English so properly or for them it isn't the spiciest food actually. I wouldn't truthfully recommend the place. it is possible to give t a go as soon as, of it's your matter then sure! whether it's not really you can move ahead :) The area has already been renewed though so that it looks much great and cleaner right now. give it a go :)

The 'Mamak over the street' is how exactly we make reference to this restaurant. It's quite common for me to move there and discover colleagues from function eating there, that is clear to see. This place is actually cheap and has excellent Indian and Malay meals. My personal favorites will be the butter poultry and the cheese naan. The restaurant's place is quite convenient however the ambiance isn't so good. Although they just completed a renovation, it nevertheless gets the 'Mamak' vibe that some individuals might not really appreciate. For me it generally does not really matter provided that the meals is good, which is really. I must say i recommend it, particularly if you're counting ringgits (rather than calories).

This was my initial mamak experience. I simply shifted to KL and during lunchtime in the office my colleague made a decision to bring in me to real Asian issue - MAMAK! I possibly could not really believe when I noticed people were eating making use of their fingers, the tables appeared odd, and just the complete idea was so unfamiliar if you ask me. It finished up being a location where I ate at the very least 2x a week, since it will be FANTASTIC! The employees is more than helpful, my collegue became close friends with the waiters. You need to try their poultry tikka and cheese nan with garlic and butter. Mmm! I certainly recommend this to all or any my friends. It really is well priced top quality delicious food.
