It was a vintage bungalow situated at Kia Peng that is one of the most affluent locations in the town I was told. We were seated and given menu. It had been a Friday evening and had produced reservation earlier for supper. I noticed there have been more waiters and waitresses than diners which made me think that 'Oh that is why they're hovering' as of this table' instead than just one individual attending to us. No biggie simply slightly odd. The bungalow will need to have once been very impressive but as a restaurant it looked pretty ordinary. So we chose our foods and decided to not need wine. I understand it is a French cafe but we don't need wines and we shouldn't describe ourselves for this and designed to feel bad about any of it. Again..quite odd. Therefore we waited for the meals. When I asked, the waiter said 'Oh would you like us to create it now?' I actually was shocked and said no many thanks. He didn't apologise, nothing at all. Very odd, nearly untrained. But it's Alright. After that we tasted the meals. When I mentioned previous how I really like my French cuisine, I wasn't kidding. The meals was not excellent. I believe if we were dealt with better considering there have been not many diners that night time, I wouldn't mind concerning the meals. I mean almost always there is hits and misses that is fine. But there's nothing at all that has been great that evening. I was quite dissatisfied. When it was time and energy to pay, there have been like three waiters about our desk. It made me question if there is an incident of a person running apart without paying before as the level of hovering produced us quite nervous. Anyway, that has been my expertise. It wasn't pleasant, foods wasn't great, provider was odd. I will not be going once again when there are several other good family helpful restaurants in the town.

We were here for a party. When talking about the menu, before the actual functionality, a request was designed to feed the band. Just two guests were champagne drinkers, others liked wine/cocktails. Once the bill came we were charged for 6 bottles ofchampagne, which produced the bill very costly. This was queried, however the manager said 6 bottles have been opened! The very next day my child visited the restaurant for a supposed "Refund". Only RM80 was provided! When questioned, the supervisor said that the higher bill was as the band members received lobster within their meal!! That is totally ludicrous. The eating place has been instructed to feed the band, but certainly within moderation. That, & the supposed excessive champagne (that was not really consumed by the celebration) implies that this restaurant won't attract future clients if they're ripped off such as this. The manager includes a lot of trying to explain to do. As a footnote, the meals was very mediocre & definitely not FINE DINING! My advice is definitely avoid this place.

OK, if you have been circular KL for some time, you'll understand that "fine dining" could be a little bit hit-and-miss, particularly when the style is European. But, should you choose desire to go French as long as you're right here, Maison Francaise is an excellent choice. The meals ingeneral is good (specifically the seared fois gras - but once again I'm a sucker for fois gras), but what produced the dinner for me had been the cheeseboard. I got five exceptional French cheeses, all faultless and mercifully at the proper temperature (you'll find nothing worse when compared to a great cheese that's chilled to death). Costs aren't cheap (much like an excellent French restaurant in European countries), but worthwhile if you're lacking your European comforts. There is also an excellent wine list,
