After being cheated multiple times in Jalan Alor, and Central Marketplace (because we're tourists), we stopped by the tiny Penang Cafe for the last meal within KL. In need of some Malaysian foods, we made a decision to come right here and order a whole lot! This place really was good and all of the portions were perfectly. Though it was just a little pricier (since it's within the Suria KLCC), everything we ordered was extremely delicious. You MUST try out the Assam Laksa in the event that you come here!

Little Penang may be the place I head to when We crave kuey teow! If you want spicy kuey teow you then need to tell the waiter to create it additional spicy until it becomes red-colored because thats the best way to eat it ! The seafood golf ball soup is an excellent appetizer, the otak-otak may be the mushy kind that is not my glass of tea. Furthermore the lobak will be soo great and the pie tee is crucial to purchase. The cendol can be a must to possess from then on hearty meal and to great you down on a warm day. The inside is of old school penang influence and the servers are quick and friendly.

When within doubt of what things to eat, choose malaysian food to make sure you everyone since it can't fail. Small Penang offers your normal malaysian cuisine from pai tee to nasi lemak and asam laksa. My preferred here's their fried kuey teow topped with crabmeat. Its as an elevated edition of a hawker preferred, filled with a generous quantity of cockles and bean sprouts. Require additional sambal aswell in order to go on it up the notch with regards to the spicy quota. Costs are a little higher but it is a gourmet edition of one's standard kopitiam. Service here's usually quick and the employees are obliging.

Tau Yue, Poultry with soya sauce and rice, what an incredible dish! this place provides some amazing traditional meals I never really had before. I believed it was super tasty! I patted on the rice and additional the sauce, after that pu the poultry a side, i combined the rice with the sauce the slice the chicken to parts and added after that it blended it up and that's how We had the very best meal within this location ever! I cherished it! The staff were kind, I waited a quarter-hour i quickly had my meal. getting out of this generation, i truthfully was too hectic on the telephone to notice just how much period it got for me to obtain my meal.

Small Penang Cafe is a good and clean establishment the price can make me have a second consider the meals. There was a significant long queue and also following the queue, the support at the eating place was slow. The meals served was good nonetheless it made me believe that for the price that has been given it was only roadside food quality because so many of the fare served at Small Penang Cafe is common at roadside stalls and hawker centers. It actually made me believe the meals served at hawker facilities tasted better than the ones that was offered at Small Penang Cafe. However it had been an enjoyable food filled up with great traditional fare. Though it was branded because so when a cafe, it had been quite cramped and how big is the establishment didn't accommodate for the requirement that has been given to it Get at the finish of the time it had been quite enjoyable dinner and I still left satisfied and full

I have only gone to Small Penang Kafe significantly less than 10 moments and each time We dine here, We'd choose their fried kuey teow. It's been my favourite since i have first tried it. Because the title of the cafe, the food they assist are Penang cuisine. Which means you would obtain pai tee, asam laksa, fresh fruit rojak, kuey teow soup and the Malaysian's preferred nasi lemak. I have a tendency to get my fried kuey teow additional spicy and the chef really does it so properly that We'd want to have another serving. However, their prices is on the higher side. So it's far better eat whenever I could afford and savour as soon as. In addition, the fruit rojak is very good. This eating place is popular for supper, as much office people would drop by for supper before heading home.

We came here for lunch time and had the Penang laksa and the otah-otah. The otah may be the steamed type, and we experienced the consistency (when you can gauge from my photograph) was too gentle, it felt such as a otah-flavored little bit of tofu. I'd not order it once again. The laksa nevertheless, was decent. We sensed that it could have significantly more seafood, and the flavors might have been more powerful, but accept that it had been probably adapted for nearby tastebuds. We also had iced barley and an ice espresso. Drinks here are pretty good, with my iced barley getting candied wintertime melon chunks, and his espresso with plenty of condensed milk. Yum!

Will always be a fan of Small Penang. They have among greatest Fried Kway Teow in Kuala Lumpur, better still than Hutong's. You could have your noodles spicy or non-spicy. If you're likely to purchase the Kway Teow, the waiter may tell you that there surely is a 20 mins wait before your meal is served. In case you are short promptly, or are simply extremely hungry, then choose the abundant with flavour Java Mee. Service here's good. You will have a individual on the appearance for empty tables if the queue will get long. Apart from the 20 minutes await the Fried Kway Teow, another food comes generally fast.

3.75 stars We stopped within here for a brief lunch time break while shopping within the massive and extremely high-end shopping centre that's known as KLCC. We weren't too picky but wished to sit down not to mention involve some Chinese-Malaysian food. Small Penang Kafe was a straightforward pick. Between your four folks we ordered several dishes and shared. Foods was surprisingly excellent! Restaurant was active, but clean because they need to maintain their mall specifications. Portions weren't large, but definitely sufficient. I wouldn't necessarily recommend as you can find probably plenty of places such as this, but was very good.
