With all the current hype, if you ask me the char kuey teow is so-so only. So it's really depends upon individual preference.

The overrated Char Kuay Teow for me. Kuay Teow is as well dry (ought to be a bit more oily and watery), prawn aren't fresh.Several better option are available around PJ and Kepong area, sorry to be too picky as a Northerner where Char Kuay Teow is really a day-to-day meal.
