This Kedai Kopi is quite popular for breakfast & there's this Wanton Mee Stall here that sells good wanton Mee, Prawn Wanton, Prawn Dumplings, Chicken Feet & his vegetable is quite succulent as he selects them. Unlike various other stalls, the veggie is hard. Checkit away.

This is a vintage restaurant which has no Store front Signage & no telephone numbers to reserve your table. You arrive and wait . So mentioned the elder of the 3 sisters (Sam Chee Mui ) & it is possible to hear her barking to consumer towait for your desk. I stood there for one hour before I had been called in & purchased their signature dish - black bean Seafood head. Once the dish emerged, after another a quarter-hour, you could start to see the seafood "swimming" on the solid dark bean gravy. The bitter gourd fried with pork had not been too bad however the prawns in the towfu had not been too refreshing. We were offered with damaged chipped porcelain plate of rice which my mother could have thrown it since it represented "suei" or a taboo. Take a look but dont arrive if you fail to wait.

We'd lunch here with buddies also it was quite an event. The Three sisters work a good ship and if you don't follow the guidelines you will end up asked to make sure you move someplace else. Reminded me of Sinfeld's episode concerning the "soup nazi".Be prepared to wait with least one hour. Once you condition how big is your party you can't change the amount of persons. A long time before being seated you need to place your purchase from the several dishes they offer. Your table will undoubtedly be assigned for you when accessible and at that time you experience lucky to create anywhere. After the rice arrives you ought to be prepared for the primary meals to be served shortly. You can feel the stress by the hovering employees to complete the meal immediately. No placing around and chit chatting. The restaurant is quite old also it really shows it's age. There is absolutely no sign in entrance. The only indication is on an internal wall however the front is spacious to the street. We could actually meet all the guidelines and tried the Seafood Head in black coffee beans, bitter melon and a tofu dish. All were good however, not considered great. I'm told they serve an excellent traditional style coffee too. The prices listed below are really cheap though and there's free car parking in the trunk with a little entrance through your kitchen. In case you are up for an journey and will obey the guidelines this is often a good budget meal choice in KL.

Hock Seng Hin are usually work by 3 sisters that are at least within their later 60s. The must attempt may be the braised fish mind which you can choose either spicy or non spicy. We purchased the spicy version also to cool-down, we hadthe chilly tofu that is plain whitened tofu served with plenty of fried garlic and springtime onions on soy sauce. Delicious! The poultry with bitter gourd will be another dish worthy of trying, along with their braised tofu. The girl taking our purchase was worried that people couldn't finish our meals so she continued advising us to avoid ordering :-) Be prepared to wait around during peak hours because the foods is cooked over wooden stoves and there's just 2 chefs to accomplish the food preparation. We waited for nearly 45mins before being proven to our table and had to hold back for another 30mins for the meals to be served. Prices are reasonable from RM25 per pax so when walking to your car through your kitchen, we were cheerily thanked by the chefs and the sisters. Such pleasurable and smiley faces despite the fact that they must be therefore tired, with the massive crowd and all. Certainly worth another visit soon
