went here for dinner, cant really remember the food here.. the tomyam is not authentic for me.. its lack of sour and the spicy taste.. the ommellet size is very big though.. maybe for 5 person portion.. the appetizer, which is chakri fish cake not nice ah.. bit salty and kind of soft.. other than that i think so so..

Love the food here and the service is great too. The thai green curry was the best I ever had. This was served with crab meat and steamed rice noodles that went perfectly with the curry.

The Thai fish cakes are very flavourful and bouncy, whilst the fried prawns and spring rolls are delectably crispy. But am wondering why the mixed fruits are over there, as it seems to be a bit of odd companion to the plate. Or is it meant to be home-style salad? Hmmm…………

Ayue difahamkan mereka buat sendiri tau red ruby ni. Memang sedap. 2 kali Ayue tambah.

Mahamahu kalau makanan Thai mestilah kena cuba Tom Yam nya. Di restoran ini ada berbagai jenis Tom Yam, yg jadi kegemaran iaitu Chakri Tom Yam King Prawn dan juga Chakri Tom Yam Seafood. Kalau kat Thai meraka panggil King Prawn tu Gung Mae Num ala sikit2 belajar bahasa Thai hehehe. Hidangan ni wajib cuba memang rempah Tom Yam sedap.

Those that work around KLCC, I am pretty sure that you are very familiar with this restaurant Imperial Chakri Palace as they have been a strong Thai Food establishment for quite some time already. As per compare with my last visit, they have renovated to a newly contemporary clean dining space. Sparkly Thai Lemongrass @ RM 13.90, Honey Lemongrass @ RM 12.90, Honey Pandan @ RM 12.90. Love all their drink as its very refreshing and good!

Left disappointed, my wallet thinned out, and my taste buds desiring something else. To be honest I have only tried their dessert menu and thank god I did not waste my money on their other options . I usually judge a Thai restaurant by its dessert; the reason being, the thai dessert is the most delicate and important part of a Thai meal, if they cant get this right, they cant get the main meal right, because the thai dessert symbolizes the importance of detail, freshness and quality in any thai restaurant. I ordered two items, the Chakri Red Ruby Water Chestnut RM 18.90 and also Thai cendol RM 15.90. Both the dessert was seriously disappointing. The coconut cream used for both dessert was not fresh, instead it was the box coconut milk. I was utterly in disgust that such a thai place with exorbitant prices has no pride in using fresh coconut milk. The taste of the coconut cream had an awful artificial aftertaste that lingered on my tongue, the milk also tasted tart and salty. It was seriously lacking the refreshing taste usually associated with Thai desserts. Presentation ? Zero. The cendol looked like it was just dished in a bowl, with no presentation or detail whatsoever. Furthermore there was no crushed ice in the dessert. The coconut looked the exact same too, lacking any detail or presentation.Overpriced is also a major problem with Chakri palace, the lack of quality in their food should be reflected in the price. A bowl of dessert should only be RM 9-RM 13, here its RM 16 and above. The dessert here can be compared to a cheap street vendor in a mall, using non-fresh ingredients and a crappy quality of presentation. I would recommend going to Sri Ayutthaya for a real authentic Thai experience. This restaurant is a waste of money, and a horrible impression to Thai food

Hello foodies! This time I  try Thailand's food in Kuala Lumpur. Actuall, I  have been so interested in having lunch or dinner at this place. The concept is elegant, premium, fine dining restaurant with royal-design, decorated with blue and white ornaments. Judging from the apparance, the interior is so beautiful and stylish. The price is quiet expensive (still affordable), regarding it is a fine dining restaurant. The restaurant is always crowded. The foods are tasty! Especially the rice is imported from Thailand. 1. Chicken pandan: the chicken is fried with special herbs and spices from Thailand. The chicken aroma is good and there is also slightly pandan aroma. The chicken is soft and tender.2. Broccoli with oyster sauce: the appearance is not so appealing, but the taste is so good!3. Minced chicken with tofu: actually it is an ordinary dish, but somehow they cook it well and tasted good. This is my favorite menu!4. Mango sticky rice: must have dessert! the mango is so sweet, imported directly from Thailand. The glutinous rice is also good.  Eat them with the coconut milk. Double thumbs up!!Overall, I want to have a meal in here again. Feeling like I am in Thailand again. It's worth it for me to spend RM 145 for those foods. Try it now!
