Emerged here with my mom so when usual taste equally as good as it did before. Certainly a suggestion to any website or nearby. Expect an extended line around 6-7pm though.

Before you read more, if you have currently made up your brain to go down to the spot, for goodness sake contact & create a booking on your own time & day of arrival. Else anticipate to wait around one to half hours! This familyoperated restaurant is one particular few old school claypot chicken rice that still uses charcoal to turn up the claypot. Poultry parts have become well marinated- it is possible to taste it right down to the bone, and everything is definitely cooked from scratch. Other dishes worth struggling is their fried poultry wings, innards soup & salted fish bean sprouts. In the event that you pre-order, wait period is between 20-30 mins. Worth a visit!

It was a little bit of an hard work addressing Heun Kee but I needed to try what's regarded as the very best claypot chicken inside KL. In any case, i was the initial customer in the store directly on 11am. I chosen the claypot poultry withdrumsticks, a bowl of kailan and an appetizer of poultry wings. I must say i enjoyed the dinner. The claypot poultry had this crust onto it that has been crunchy and delicious. Seeing both cooks out leading of the cafe plying their business with the claypots getting prepared on rustic charcoal stoves had been great. I’m sure I am back again!

Heun Kee has been featured in a number of local food Television shows: 1) Axian by Astro in the past 2) Ho Chak by 8TV in 2018. The claypot poultry rice is among the best around, as it's still becoming cooked the original way using charcoalstoves. The rice is served with a little part of salted fish in tin cup. Be sure you combine the salted fish essential oil completely with the rice before you take in. The girl boss was round the final time I went in June 2018. She is pleased to get your orders, and all of those other crew share her interest.

We took the cab down simply for this and it's really rather disappointing. It's only a normal claypot eating place that scoop rice in to the claypot and contact it claypot rice. We've plenty of great claypot rice in Singapore. Need not come this far.

Among the oldest and famous claypot poultry rice restaurant inside Kuala Lumpur. Come night time, anticipate a queue with 30 mins waiting period. Prepared with charcoal fire.. additional popular dishes may be the claypot waxed meats rice & types of soups.

Came here for later lunch and had 2portion of Claypot poultry rice@ RM25, 1 small rice wine poultry RM 35 and 1 little watercress soup @ RM 8 Total bill came around RM 68 for just two 2 pax Personally I believe the claypot chicken arefluffly but tasted average. Nevertheless the chicken meat come in good part for 2pax and so are not stingy. Salted seafood aren't salty kind. The thing that I love was it’s utilizes charcoal, so price could be more expensive than normal regular gas stove. The rice wine chicken was much better than the claypot rice in all honesty. The flavors are intensive however the portion seem Thad small Watercress soup is great and less oily but seem salty after drinking this. Would revisit easily actually at the vicinity of pudu just.

This place is filled with people during supper. We got here right before 6pm on Sunday and got the empty desk without waiting around. And we called 30 mins to order our meals prior arrival. Upon arrival we shall need to wait for15 mins before being offered. Unless you call minimum waiting period will undoubtedly be 30 mins after seated. Flavor is OK nothing specific but cost is on the higher side compare to some other shops selling exactly the same foods. Don't think should come back here
