Beautiful classy stone experience, wood fired oven roaring inside the restaurant and excellent drinks to opt for the food. Good support, though I would recommend reserving since it gets busy!

There must be quite a few reasons if this place is completely booked on a standard Wednesday without public visit to sight. This is actually the second period that I check out this pizzeria and both events still left me with a nice sensation. The dog owner is Italian, likesto speak to his guests and manages a team of locals who guy the oven - wood fired, believe it or not - and wait the tables. They recommend the specials of the home, duly follow some “strange” requests (I don’t like my pizza pre-cut, merely to mention one), and deliver the meals timely. The 1st time (2 yrs back) I tried a Calabrese with Burrata (outside a mozzarella cheese, with a soft and creamy/buttery inside, thus the title), some unusual icecream (pistachio or lavender, uncertain which was mine once we were a lot of friends) and a nice Illy espresso coffee. This time around I had exactly the same Calabrese pizza but minus the burrata (that is too sensitive a cheese to place it on the fiery flavor of the ‘nduja), no icecream but again an extremely perfect Illy caffè! The pizza was definitely on the spicy side, however the mixture of topping (broccoli, guanciale and ‘nduja) ensure it is extremely wealthy and tasty. The dough is merely rightly cooked, not really spongy, not too heavy, nice to consume even alone, such as a nice, popular piece of bread. Tony’s restaurant is really a good addition to selecting Italian places inside KL. Will undoubtedly be back.
