As usual, I will order the Cold Udon.. As you queue up to pay, you will come across several tempting items leading up to the cashier. I ended up paying more than I intended to any regretted my choices. The place is super cramped. It was hard to go in and out to refill my green tea. If I ever feel like eating from here, I would definitely tapau instead.

The curry udon with the onsen egg is really good. The fried add ons are nice but how oily they are varies on certain days. They could be drenched in oil or really crunchy depending on your luck.

It is one of the best Japanese restaurants in KL city, not only in terms if taste but also in terms of quality, quantity, service, ambience and price. It is an amazing experience not to be found anywhere else.

My first time trying hanamaru udon. My choice went to the one that seems the most unusual, udon with mentai sauce, after ordering, I just realize that it also include raw egg in it, which is not my thing at all. Tastewise, it was okay, but too creamy for my liking. The egg was overwhelming, but the texture of the udon was nice. My friend ordered the one with beef and omu, he said it was okay. Price was reasonable, and service was fast.

Not really a fan of soup-based food. The noodle is very thick but the soup tasted okay. The fritters were a bit oily 😓. You will need to reserve your seat first before ordering your food because this place usually will be packed with customers especially during peak hours, gentle reminder yaa 😂

Tried their beef udon and their enoki tempura n somethibg like fish cake. N it was really delicious. Price wise, i think it's affordable and reasonable. I eat alone n it cost me rm29 and i'm satisfied. :)

I've eaten in Hanamaru Udon since its first opening in early 2015 (mostly I'll order the Spicy Miso Udon). Maybe it's just me, but recently the taste isn't quite good as in the past. I'm not sure why. Price-wise, in the span of 2 years, they've increased RM2.80 for each dish (regular and large) -- yes I still have the old brochure of it for comparison purpose. Also, for some reason they removed the yuzu soda drink that was my favourite over there. Again, this puzzles me :(The place is still very crowded even outside of lunch hours.

The prices have been increased! Used to be the cheapest place for udon. Menu has changed and more varieties now. The crowd has lessen. Not as crowded as last time. Food is good as always but the portion has reduced.Beef curry udon is really good!

Spicy Miso Udon! That's would goes second after Beef Udon! It's a chicken soup + spicy minced chicken meat + boiled egg. It tastes okay and Not too spicy. It quite salty but not too salty. It blended well with chicken soup. Recommended on regular size for those who won't eat a lot. Large size is for those who loves big portion! :)
