We ordered 2 meals...taufu and duck...nicely cooked..tasty and neither too oily nor too salty. Healthy!Supplemented along with a pot of top quality Chinese tea and rice, overall a fascinating and nourishing Chinese dinner. The service was excellent and the girl owner was effusive, friendly and helpful.Standard upmarket Chinese restaurant ambience with lanterns, an suitable decor and comfy tasteful furniture. All tables for supper were adopted, and we had been fortunate to find the last table designed for two.Prior reservations will be necessary in upcoming, especially on a occupied Saturday night.

Opn by exactly the same pple at the rear of The Fat Seafood, this outlet acts a variety of hakka-canto cuisine .. the ma-yau-yue was properly completed, topped w ginger strips, basking in sweetish soya sauce .. the twice boiled pork rib soup has been hearty & great .. andthe pork.lard rice had been sinful, and delicious .. my fav .. thw fried meehoon looked bland (our 1st impact) .. but appearance could be deceiving .. shd try out this, it had been tasty and moist .. the desserts (ninko & a sweetish soupy thingy) has been so so just .. can gv this a skip .. overall pretty good .. and service had been attentive .. thumbs up because of this ..

Good food isn't difficult to find inside KL, from street vendors and hawkers to advanced fine dining establishments. Being traditional is a thing that is very much indeed appreciated, particularly when it involves Chinese food, but thus is being innovative. Extra fat Fook Inn managesto deliver both, & most of all manages to provide very authentic foods, and explore the flavours and provide of the region. Usually do not expect culinary revelations, but be prepared to be offered an excellent meal, in an exceedingly cozy and funky environment with friendly and expert service that's never intrusive. We've had an array of dishes, from lovely and sour pork (yes I needed to use it, and realised just as before it was designed for silly Westerners as me), divine herbal soup, pork with pumpkin yet and dark bean poultry, served with chives blossoms (never ever tried it before, evidently not often found on local marketplaces, but with distinct flavor and ready to perfection it has been the truth) and bitter gourd. As the location is relatively suburban, in Mount Kiara, it isn't that definately not city center and Bangsar where I had been staying. The interior is fairly inresting, again traditional however in today's way, and very funky. Test it out for, listen to what's their offer that time. They even delivered us oysters from the adjacent cafe as one person inside our celebration wanted to keep these things prior to the meal. And, very much as I in basic principle object to consuming oysters which were flown in from European countries with everything else you could have in Asia, I have to say these were delicious.

Nice setting, okay meals however, not excellent. Pork tummy was great, asam seafood had been pathetic with 30% seafood 70% veggie, the nice potato leaf we'd was “too old” yet they still function it. At the very least QC before you serve it?

Fat Fook Inn is definitely tucked away inside Mont Kiara Shoplex, behind Body fat Fish. Both talk about a standard owner, Ee Von, who's passionate about food. Also it shows. Nice reduced key spot to bring family & buddies. They'll thank you because of this find! Especiallyfor enthusiasts of most things pork. In addition they serve dual boiled soups. We emerged for supper but they likewise have a collection lunch for RM16.
