I cannot help but make comparisons from what they used to serve a decade ago. The meat was fresh - I still remember seeing the prawns 'bounce' once the wear it the griller. The greens looked fresh and tghe hygiene levels here excellent.But which has changed considerably. Taste has definitely dropped. The soup was previously a delight however now it is terrible. This is a pity.

We choose Beef Steak and Beef Fried Rice. Really like it, when u eat meat and the vege together its perfect combination ;) The price never to expensive rather than cheap. mid range.

I really like teppanyaki. This place though includes a crowd more often than not, the meals quality is bad. The beef, chicken, seafood, etc are poorly cooked. Service too is 3rd class.

Express Teppan-Yaki @ Food Republic (Pavilion) is one of the many eateries situated in Pavilion's food court. Teppanyaki is really a Japanese design of cuisine that uses an iron plate (teppan) to cook grilled (yaki) meats and seafood. Probably the most 'fun' facet of eating teppanyaki has tobe near the 'action station' (ie. the teppan) and watching the meals being cooked/grilled before you.

Excellent fresh cooked food served straight fro the hot plate before you and wonderful affordability. We went there five times in ten days to the nice fresh food,the ambience and the knowledge . Staff can't be more friendly.

You will need to order and pay at the primary station. Don't simply take a seat like we saw some individuals do. Once you've paid, you may want to await a seat, however, not too long. We attained 8pm and were seated8.10pm. They will have 3 sections going and place you as well as your group wherever they will have those levels of seats. The stations are create a bit such as a blackjack table but rather of where in fact the dealer normally stands, the chefs are standing. The benches and cooking plate is cleaned down with lime juice between each cook. Then they place down what appears like a seaweed mat infront of you. Your order is on a docket and the chef just looks to see what he could be cooking. Then gets underway. Rice, bean sprouts and anything you have ordered is cooked fresh and served to your seaweed mat. It was an excellent atmosphere and everything tasted very fresh. We were in and out in a hour.
