Unless you live round the area, you will likely think about driving completely to the road behind Taman Tun wet marketplace for dinner. Don't believe. Just push. But one little bit of suggestions, bring some wines (and ice) if you would like aglass, it's craft beers just at Ember. We'd to rapidly dash off to your wine check around the corner. Luckily, the people at Ember were excellent about any of it and willingly offered a bucket for out ice & wines. Add the ridiculously reduced corkage charge and you will observe that with this particular advance notice, you will see small to complain about. Right now to the meals; Blasé KL folk believe there actually isn't much great "Western" meals beyond Bangsar, but Ember proves them resoundingly incorrect. Unusual, interesting dishes which are thankfully slim on fad (go through bubbles, foams and projected small chefs) and abundant with culinary expertise and creativity. Order an excellent variety, or do once we did and keep it to chef Gary Anwar, relax and enjoy. One final comment; the décor might be a small sparse and frosty, but at least you are not in a decommissioned plane. Verdict: Unless you take a look, you're a fool.

It had been fusion. Couldn’t find out if it had been predominantly Thai, Japanese, Malay or another thing. There was a little bit of something in everything. Reading through off the menu, you're not certain of what you will be getting. We had been in a big group sohad the chance to taste the majority of the menu. Actually loved the beef tartar, much to my shock. The smokey flavour had been both delicate and bold simultaneously. The nice potato dish elevated the humble tuber to a fresh level.

The repeat visit this time around for my husband’s birthday celebration. Booked a desk for 3 because of this night and requested for a good table instead of to become seated by the bar on stools. There is a mix through to seating. I was fairly miffed, considering thatI experienced taken the difficulty to point out that it had been a special trip to the idea of booking. Gladly all had been sorted out without an excessive amount of delay. The meal itself was delightfully interesting, with an increase of hits than misses. Personnel were knowledgeable and useful. The favourites had been the eggplant salad, crispy prawns which although just a little spicy for my child had the proper crunch and sat on a mattress of ‘Ember’ slaw. The grilled lamb noodle has been regularly deliciously. Moods had found and an excellent evening was quickly happily in progress. Nevertheless the biggest plus factor tonite was the truth that Jasmine, most likely the manager? popped to state that the food was on the home because of the earlier confusion. This is a classic surprise. Suffice to state that professionalism in this smart, cozy, establishment will be unsurpassed. They consider their craft significantly. We were thinking about repeat visits regardless but this results in a beautiful impression on what much you worth your diners. Many thanks Ember.

I've dined here several times given that they opened some time ago and absolutely like this place. They function the best contemporary Asian fare I've actually eaten, with seasonal create that is beautifully prepared. The atmosphere will be homely and it seems you'rein a friend's kitchen for supper. A concealed gem in TTDI and essential visit if you are in KL!

Lamb noodles will be the best. Just lamb noodles, that's what this review will undoubtedly be about. Lamb noodles. Double part of lamb noodles.

Upon the suggestion of a well-known KL Chef we visited Ember for dinner. Dinner is served from a particular time so strategy ahead for traffic in order never to be late! The set menu supper was excellent. A variety of originality, new tastes andperfumes and a good balance of the many components in each dish. Service has been very attentive and knowledgeable. On the negative side, the only real drink available was water! Simply no alcohol licence but BYOB feasible. Unfortunately we weren't aware of it. Stranger is that zero other beverages, juices were available. By the end of the dinner neither espresso nor tea was available! Only plain water. I'd have expected the Chef to get ready a few juice mixes or much like accompany the wonderful dinner. Still worth a trip but ask before concerning the drink situation. On the negative side

Great food but horrible service. Feeling of the wait around staff and chefs as though better than customers rather than accommodating. Considering customers as if searching down on us and becoming pompous. Like the foods but don’t just like the service. Usually do not recommend
