Even there's limited selection upon the menu but all of dish was tasty. They're serving tapas size part so usually do not expect huge portion. I've no hesitation to revisit.

Excited with an increase of innovation in KL's meals scene but disappointed along with the lack of focus on detail with Ember. The meals: as the grilling was completed well, the total amount of the ingredients and flavours weren't up to mark. For instance, lying close to the duck breast (excellent btw!) and threadfin had been plenty of vegetables. The 4 angle beans were hard (old). I didn't very fancy the fried poultry with gula Melaka. No ideal combo. On support: order taking and foods explanation were great. But in addition to that absolutely nothing else. No assist with the wine. Small to no engagement despite at the counter chairs. Not a good bye whenever we gradually still left.On the proximity to the open up kitchen: our date and I were quite disgusted by the jar of natural fish bone and seafood head right while watching bar. See the image below. The chefs had been operating within their own world as though not noticeable to their diners regardless of the open up concept. Eg, The masks hanging from their chins.Ps: the bathroom . brush in the bathroom . was hanging at attention level.Overall, an excellent concept. However they need that essential attention to details to create this place shining vivid as an actual ember.

Read somewhere concerning this place and wished to try it. Produced reservation impromptu and proceeded to go the same night. The interior is really a bit dim having an open cooking area concept. We were at first seated at the desk, but I requested the counter top for an improved experience. The web host was gracious sufficient to support. The service was great and prompt. I has been surprised to start to see the cocktail had been from a bottle and much more so with restricted food options which were accessible. We purchased what I could eat. The superstar of the day will be the mushroom and cauliflower. It had been bursting with flavour and scrumptious. All of those other dishes weren't as flavorful when i would have needed them to end up being. A uncommon gem of contemporary Malaysian dining. I anticipate more innovative meals from you soon

Ember is really a real gem - tasty, complex flavors for affordable prices without a large amount of fuss or even fanfare. Affordable wine checklist and comfy seating. Eat there when you nevertheless canOn a side road in TTDI with out a lot of other activities happening, Ember actually surprised us using its high quality and affordability. We'd the fried chicken (a little sweet for me personally, but excellently fried), the duck (massive part and wonderfully cooked. your skin was nevertheless crunchy as the duck has been medium-uncommon) and the striploin (a little stringy but quite tasty). Mix of western strategies and hints of Asian tastes. All wines offered are significantly less than 200RM per bottle - we'd the Sangiovese, that was ideal with the duck and beef. The services is relaxed and pleasant, which matches the super-spacious and leisurely vibe of the area. It's ideal for dates, parties, little groups... anything except really formal dinners.Strongly suggested.

Modern bistro using nearby ingredients.Downside is really a rather small menus, chefs cook within an open kitchen, making use of their masks off.Little servings, require 3-4 entres for just two 2 to share.Instead pricey for the tiny serving.
