For those who have a craving for Malay food and cooked in Johorean design, do stop by Chengkih Restaurant situated in the vicinity of Taman Tun Dr Ismail. You won't be disappointed because the selection of food and broad choice can make decision creating a tough one For breakfast there exists a wide range of traditional kuih muih along with other varieties My favorites may be the pulut panggang and the ubi kayu . The pulut panggang is performed perfectly and the filling yummy. For weekends the spagetti alio with lala (shell fish) is delicious. My father's favorute may be the johor laksa. The broth can be fragrant and flavourful and the condiments and sambal complements it properly. It is a signature dish of the eating place but I desire the portion were larger though. From mid early morning, a range of dishes can be acquired to opt for rice. Favorites are the ikan asam pedas, which includes the proper balance of lovely, and sourness and the sotong masak hitam, that is a delicacy (squid in dark ink) I actually heard the nasi briyani is very good too, this can definitely be in my 'must try " following visit dish. Oh...end up being warned, the restaurant could be quite packed so show patience

This place is excellent! Nice place to go out. The desert will be fantastic. Primarily, the environment helps it be fun.....a few of the owners sing and dancing. Got upward and danced myself.

The lontong is actually fantastic here! I believe it's the crushed dried shrimp gives the oomph. I actually did not really just like the Johor laksa since it is mostly noodles although gravy isn't bad. The nasi lemak is equally good. The rice is indeed fragrant and contains a lemak flavor to it. There are plenty of options of sides to increase the rice. The kuehs are so-so. But also for the teh tarik, lontong and nasi lemak, I believe this can be a good spot to dine in.

D'Cengkih serves neighborhood Johorian cuisines. Their specialized is foods like Laksa Johor, Mee Rebus, Nasi Briyani Gam Johor and the Nasi Ambang. I've just really tried the Mee Rebus which We'm a large enthusiast of! It's challenging to obtain yummy Mee Rebus. The sauce isn't insane thick but only a best amount for me. In the mornings, they serve Nasi Lemak, Ubi Rebus, Soto Nasi and substantially more okay you get the idea! Plenty of malaysian cuisines are available right here and it's really delicious. The operating hrs are from 7am to 6.30pm (simply for the month of April), after April it'll resume back again to normal hours that is from 7am to 10pm.
