CST Restaurant is situated within the hawker center along Jalan lazat 1. It's been around for yrs but still keeps its doorway open to the general public daily from 10:30am to 10:30pm. It acts typically home cooked design chinese food plus some seafood dishes. Theservice is really a tad slow once we soon realized that this took them 25 moments to serve our initial dish despite getting the only real table that was not served. Anyhow, once the foods was served, we weren't disappointed.. not just one bit. The dried out curry wild boar was simply delicious rather than too spicy. The natural soup was lighting and refreshing. The strong fried grouper with nice & sour sauce needed to be among the best I possess ever endured. The pig intestines fried with dried shrimps & chili was flawlessly prepared, bouncy & flavourful. And lastly the poultry fried with bitter gourd & canned key mushroom was basically delightful to the palate. Overall, the food had been spectacular eventhough the program might have been improved. Cost wise, it was an excellent bang for the buck as our expenses came up to reasonable RM120 which includes rice & a pot of chinese tea.

We pointed out that this stall is definitely packed during dinner hrs so we made a decision to take a look. The menus pasted on the walls is pretty extensive. Ordered Teochew steamed tilapia @ RM 32/900g, Lovely sour pork within Buddha's Yam Band @ RM 30 andPumpkin Tofu @ RM 15. Foods arrived in a jiffy. It will as we had been the only customer in those days (1815hrs) Tilapia wasn't the freshest we've tasted. The meats is gentle and the teochew broth didn't impress either. II question whether it's a live someone to start out with? I should've inquired before ordering! Buddha's yam ring had not been crispy therefore were the lovely and sour pork. Usually, this combination won't fail in lots of restaurants we've tried, however, not here. The pumpkin tofu was ok however the gravy was too filling to your liking. we had been loaded after just the next piece! I've attempted this dish at some other restaurants also it won't offer you this effect. Overall, a mediocre bistro or possibly we've ordered something isn't their forte.
