Checkers introduced the rack of BBQ pork ribs once the Lord of the Bands movies made the smashing debut back 2001 and cleverly called it LOTR. It is a very humble, saved restaurant. Unless you're fortunate to know an area, or close friends with xpats you'd quickly drive past and skip it, or in the event that you noticed it from the road, possibly dismiss it. The scampi is incredible alongside beautiful crusty loaf of bread. Don't lose out on the anchovy paste, it is a perfect beginner. Ice cool beers a a lot. The owner has already been there for over 20yrs and is an excellent host. Would like to visit again.

Best kept secret inside KL. The ribs are simply simply amazing with the garlic sauce. Recommend this place. This is a pork fest location. Everyone needs to move there at least one time.

We were switched off by the plastic material white chairs whenever we came inside. I convinced my boyfriend it will be okay, since we came right here to use the food because of "good" reviews. We asked the dog owner what else he is able to recommend apart from theribs (which we were likely to attempt) and he was extremely eccentric in the manner he responded. Like, inquiring him that issue was this type of stupid idea. We tried the pork ribs that was quite tasty. However, it was a little helping for 80 ringgit. For that cost, we can get yourself a full slab (larger portion) in high level restaurants. We also attempted the grilled pork stomach, which also tasted great, except the 3 slices were so slim it could have flown faraway from the plate. RM44. If the costs were reasonable i'd probably be pleased to come back. Regrettably I know for an undeniable fact that the costs are too exorbitant, rather than proportionate to the part size, that was so sad as the food taste good. Would not return, wouldn't normally recommend to anyone.

An extremely small and quaint pork eating place in Damansara Height. Positive thing we produced a reservation because they were complete a Friday evening. This place can suit probably 6 tables just? We'd the signature ribs that i thought it had been just ok, didn'tfall off the bone nonetheless it was really nicely flavoured. The pork knuckle where in fact the table close to us had has been far more attractive that i thought could be much better than their ribs... They will have some specials every once in awhile depends on the dog owner if he's cooking it on that time so you might want to take a look with him directly. One thing I love about this place certainly is the quaint place and you also have interaction with the dog owner. Not many locations in KL runs little joints such as this without hiring a lot of foreign workers to perform the place...

Went there inside March for an instant dinner. Lovely cosy cafe with an agreeable crew. Nevertheless the pork ribs had been dry (although marinate sauce great) and the meatball (that was the menus of your day) lacked oomph. The ribs had been over RM40 which ispricey but a lot more than that it had been dry and hard! You can get much better ribs cheaper and much more tender elsewhere.

Menu is bound but good. Proprietor/chef will recommend at that moment. Pork knuckle along with other pork dishes excellent. Salads along with other meats obtainable. Cuisine is mainly European/Continental. Good food, atmosphere is definitely cosy but decor is really a bit simple. Place where you choose goodfood with several friends , nor be worried about the decor an excessive amount of! Owner will recommend foods to pair with wines. Price on the bigger side but worthwhile for the product quality. Would go again.

The place is quite small. We'd ordered the initial round of starters. Whenever we wanted to purchase another round and the dog owner rudely said " do not order as so when you like when i just have one chef". Remember therewas only our desk and something other table of 4. So nothing like the eating place was insanely busy. Foods was nothing at all to shout about. Overall it was a whole waste of time.
