We found out about Checker's from the friend of the household. We had been delighted to taste the very best cuisine this aspect of KL. It is a family work restaurant that creates meals with love. We'd the smoked ham and sliced pork tummy. Both had been todie for. You need to test the pork knuckle as well. Desert ... OMG! Have a look at the pic! It has to function as best ice cream actually! If you find oneself in Kl, be sure you head around 'Checkers. You will think it’s great, once we did!!! Surap,

Checkers introduced the rack of BBQ pork ribs once the Lord of the Bands movies made the smashing debut back 2001 and cleverly called it LOTR. It had been a hit, similar to the Tolkien classic converted to a movie, gaining numerous adherents. A decadeplus afterwards, without major brand-new hits, in addition to the entry of several other porcine restaurant competition, Checkers has become yet another struggling neighborhood cafe in demanding economic periods.

It is a very humble, saved restaurant. Unless you're fortunate to know an area, or close friends with xpats you'd quickly drive past and skip it, or in the event that you noticed it from the road, possibly dismiss it. Though without a doubt the meals andservice is excellent. Mandatory consider for ribs, the sauces and sauerkraut are among the better. The scampi is incredible alongside beautiful crusty loaf of bread. Don't lose out on the anchovy paste, it is a perfect beginner. Ice cool beers a a lot. The owner has already been there for over 20yrs and is an excellent host. Would like to visit again.

Best kept secret inside KL. The ribs are simply simply amazing with the garlic sauce. Recommend this place. This is a pork fest location. Everyone needs to move there at least one time.

We were switched off by the plastic material white chairs whenever we came inside. I convinced my boyfriend it will be okay, since we came right here to use the food because of "good" reviews. We asked the dog owner what else he is able to recommend apart from theribs (which we were likely to attempt) and he was extremely eccentric in the manner he responded. Like, inquiring him that issue was this type of stupid idea. We tried the pork ribs that was quite tasty. However, it was a little helping for 80 ringgit. For that cost, we can get yourself a full slab (larger portion) in high level restaurants. We also attempted the grilled pork stomach, which also tasted great, except the 3 slices were so slim it could have flown faraway from the plate. RM44. If the costs were reasonable i'd probably be pleased to come back. Regrettably I know for an undeniable fact that the costs are too exorbitant, rather than proportionate to the part size, that was so sad as the food taste good. Would not return, wouldn't normally recommend to anyone.
