The meals court outside Aquaria, located in the basement of KLCC, houses several eateries, serving from burgers and roasted chicken to Malaysian, Indian and Chinese food. We, getting completed our visit of Aquaria, stopped right here for lunch and observed Chakri Xpress, whichbills itself as fusion Thai. It provides the most common popular Thai dishes-pad Thai, tom yam, Thai curries, mango salad, therefore on-and we finished up buying (for RM60.60) the pad Thai and the Pattaya design fried rice, alongside two cups of watermelon juice. It is a food court, in the end, so everything is pretty basic. The meals was ready in under ten minutes, and needed to be found. The pad Thai noodles was included with the essential pad Thai sauce-sour, lovely, salty and just a little spicy-blended in together with the egg, prawns, plus some spring onions, however the remaining garnishes-peanuts, a fiery dried reddish colored chilli powder, a wedge of lime-came privately, which allowed one to mix in just as much or less than you wanted. Also privately was a large heap of refreshing beansprouts, really sharp and lovely, an excellent textural comparison to the otherwise gentle textures of the noodles. Furthermore, there were a few springtime rolls, crunchy and tasty. I actually liked the pad Thai a whole lot. The Pattaya design fried rice, however, was underwhelming: an extremely simple fried rice with egg, prawn, springtime onion, and an extremely thin, almost brik-pastry-slim omelette draped on the rice. Privately was a plate of a tangy, relatively spicy broth with cut cilantro inside it (this broth furthermore was included with the pad Thai, but has been superfluous if so), in addition to a handful of spring rolls. Furthermore served with this particular was a nice, sour-spicy salad of julienned ripe mango. Okay, so far as the common kiosk in the common food court runs, but don’t expect significantly beyond that.
