Got the signature nasi lemak which was included with a strong fried poultry thigh. Love what sort of rice is prepared. Decent nasi lemak regardless of the high price. Nevertheless, the coffee is definitely kinda a letdown. As well diluted n dun hv the espresso fragrance

We'd our Saturday lunch time at the Capitol Cafe inside Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur on 17 March. The cafe is massive and clear maintaining the traditional restaurant ambience of yester yrs. The service will be good and helpful. The nasi lemak with fried poultry isnice and delicious. The poultry chop rice can be good too.

This is a vintage eatery; it's been functioning since 1950’s. In line with the current interior, nothing at all really changed during the past 50 many years. It’s a quaint and exhausted kopitiam, now well-known for its nasi Padang for lunch time, and hot dish (electronic.g. char kwayteow) and satay at night. For the nasi Padang, fried beef lung with sambal and dendeng are recommended side dishes that certain should try. Cost is pretty reasonable, according to the side dishes taken. Satay (poultry and beef) is preferred too. Usually the satay stall will be open up from 5 pm before satay comes out (around 7-ish pm). The cafe is obtainable via public transport. Alight at Bandaraya LRT station and stroll towards Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman (Jalan TAR), or get into Sogo (the section store linked to the LRT station) and stroll towards the primary entrance close to a Mentor outpost. Cafe Capitol is situated at a row of stores opposite Sogo.

When I as just a little boy, this was thought to be "eating out". An average kopitiam and connected above the store was boarding areas. This is the norm through the colonial era. It had been before big brand Resorts invaded Kuala Lumpur! Today I made a decision to "treat"myself and were left with Capitol Cafe on which was called Batu Street (Mile Road today Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman) right in the town centre contrary Sogo. This place certainly hasn't changed since an image of King George VI or perhaps a very youthful Queen Elizabeth had been hung on the wall space. The pictures let you know everything. Its three eateries actually, the Nasi Padang (typical Malay rice meals), Indian Rojak and the immediate Mee stall that will among the best Mee Hailam in KL. I chosen posting a Rojak and getting a decent sided bowl of Mee Hailam. All my chdhood remembrances returned, nothing changed, good meals and a easier life! The whole lot came to significantly less than RM20. The nasi padang is fantastic. Its numerous food and the range is different and abundant. And incredibly affordable at under RM10 for a heapful of rice. If you would like genuine Malaysia food at its best with a brief history this is the spot to go! Provide me that rather than Burger King anyday.

It’s only a local kind of non air-con restaurant. They are better referred to as Mamak dining places. It’s as an Indian Muslim cafe. Will get vegetable dishes.

Occasionally we'd our meal here right after shopping at Sogo not far from. Sogo would be the nearest and convenient car parking space close to this restaurant. In any other case, you should try your good fortune finding open parking room at masjid india region or campbell complicated near DangWangi. We like their Mi Hailam, a chinese design fried noodle with some gravy. Their Nasi Padang and Sate will be the other good choices. Hard to obtain a chair during peak hrs like lunch time. It had been not air-conditioned, so prepare yourself together with your hand fan :-)

Capital Cafe proprietors were another generation of the establishment for Traditional Hainanese Kopitiam. This outdated cafe in Kuala Lumpur opposing to Sogo Department Shop, which consists of keeping their heritage for days gone by half centuries you can't really miss as you stroll along JalanTuanku Abdul Rahman. THE DOG OWNER knows her clients by title and remembers what beverage they having. As I view them entertain their consumer, A very important factor that what keeps this establishment an upper hands is their interpersonal abilities towards all their customers.

Nestled between the bustling metropolis of Kuala Lumpur, Capitol Cafe is really a spacious and authentically nearby environment to have a breather. Great foods, great taste & most importantly, great worth. Customers are spoilt having an range of local delicacies right here, undoubtedly ideal for the tastebuds of locals and vacationers alike. Come right here for an informal yet wonderful dining knowledge flanked by way of a restaurant design that really represents Malaysia's multicultural heritage.
