i reside in kl so needless to say i have already been in a lot of restaurants tried several restaurants. this eating place is really a really nice intimate cafe near ttdi. the purchase price is not so costly yet not worthwhile because the meals is just substandard. youcan get yummier foods with the same cost in a lot of other dining places in kl. but if u desire to visit a restaurant which has a romantic experience to it. after that this should end up being one of your alternatives(in the event that you dont mind the meals) but if u need better food and much more romantic it is advisable to try tamarind springtime in kl.

    1. The waiter called Din was good & amusing. 2. The LOUSY food integrated the Tomyam (seafood wasn't refreshing and the flavor of the soup can make me sense wanna vommit), Bangkok rice with beef (beef weren't clean), thai noodle tasted like plastic material, broccoli wasn'tfresh, ayam warung had not been fresh new and the cantonese yee mee includes a strong fishy smell. 3. The only acceptable meals had been the satay, kuah satay and gado gado. 4. The end result is that even though ambience is good, the waiters are great but if the foods is LOUSY, it'll just be a issue of period....unless the owners have so very much money to help keep this place opened up with net operational loss. 5. I dont think I'll go there again.

Could be I'm the lucky as soon as or possibly not, but I am to Bora Asmara frequently and every time I'm right now there, it 's in no way disappointed. I JUST brought my children to celebrate my girl b'day and yes, I have to agreed that the oldest waiter(Din) is often a champ. His suggestion on the meals (bali dancing seafood, otak2, tomyam fish mind, creamy butter prawn, etc....) all marvellous, rather than to forget the drinks (saloma, lemon grass chiller) is merely the best. And additional more for the purchase price started at RM 22.50+ per individual for a marriage package, maybe 1 day, InsyaAllah I'll carry out my daughter's wedding as of this place..... To Bora Asmara, continue the good work.

My husband discovered Bora Asmara 1 day when he missing his method - and was so amazed simply by how it looked he made it a spot to go back again for supper with us a couple of days later. It's rather a lovely location, theopen air dining region is spacious, properly decorated and nearly made us feel just like we had been in Bali once again - the only items missing had been the ubuquitous frangipani blossoms and the tiny trays/containers of flowers which are everywhere in Bali. However, the atmosphere conditioned section will be disappointing - unlike the back yard,it provides 'standard' banquet chairs and tables without decor to talk about, and smelt actually musty. The meals was another disappointment - it had been simply average. The tom yam soup we'd tasted okay even though prawns might have been fresher, and the balinese design grilled chicken was very bland. The lemon grass beverage was good, but that is among those places it doesn't serve plain drinking water, only mineral drinking water - something I've a family pet peeve against - I don't mind spending money on the plain water, in the end they need to wash the eyeglasses etc, but I item to spending money on water in a plastic material bottle. The waitress we'd was good, however when by the end of our supper when it suddenly began to rain, no-one made any proceed to get us umbrellas to greatly help us to shelter, or offer my hubby one to head to our car - also it wasn't as though there have been many other customers for attending. I don't think we'll move there for supper again, maybe merely to have a espresso plus some dessert, and that limited to the atmosphere that is quiet and relaxing. (and yes it has adequate car parking place, which is very much appreciated in KL!)

Proceeded to go there to celebrate my birthday celebration. I'm very dissatisfied with the meals. The otak otak and tom yam tastes like curry without the santan (coconut milk). The drink asmaradana too nice and preferences like vanilla lotion cake. I'd say nice spot to lepak withfriends and household. Food standard most severe than street food.

Brought my mum here for birthday celebration dinner. Heard the meals was fine and ambient rustic. There is a Raya celbration of some kind and the employees were short handed. Foods only came into being 2 hours afterwards and most of us finished our 2-3 drinks. The fooddidnt also replace the wait. Won't come here again.

It's painful to create a bad review in regards to a cafe. After all, a negative review could undo yrs of effort that restaurant proprietors spent to develop their reputation. Regarding Asmara Penchala (formerly Bora Asmara), there's really simply no purpose to holdback on that bad examine. They really deserve it. The brand new, changed name, must have been an obvious warning. The prior bad reviews will be another. However my group of buddies and I were persistent enough to think that folks (and restaurants) could modification for the higher. It's clear that each bad review here's true. LOCATION The restaurant place is in the center of nowhere. Bumpy street leads to the eating place, assuming you know ways to get there. The map within their website isn't very useful. And when we known as to require direction, the host / supervisor who picked up the telephone sounded therefore unhappy that you'd believe we committed a criminal offense by asking. Carpark: what carpark? On weekends, get ready to park half of a mile later on and walk. Not really that the cafe is busy - it's that they have hardly any space for vehicles, and neighbours don't enjoy having cars before their houses. FOOD Did someone this utilize the phrase 'atrocious'? Can't think about an improved word to defeat that. Food are dried out, bland and usually tasteless. To be reasonable, some of the meals aren't exactly poor. The briyani rice for instance actually tastes great. But the rest felt forced. Just like the chef has already been blackmailed into functioning there. Yes, it's that bad. ATMOSPHERE I'm just a little divided right here. Yes, Asmara has a nice Balinese experience to it, with nice gazebos, drinking water features, and the functions. Could it be worth the lower here for the synthetic setting? Zero! (Actually I wouldn't brain, if I am residing across them and craves for basic briyani, and the rest is closed). SERVICE Hmmm. What provider? Non existent waiters, absent web host/hostess. We had to find our desk on our very own. And were come up with with another band of strangers because they gave apart half our desk because we resulted in 5 minutes past due, despite having called forward to inform them we are along the way and attempting tough to locate them. CONCLUSION Stay away!
