Ok you round eye tourists. Here is the deal: order like 2-3 bowls of noodles each, then get your sides. The noodles are tiny portions, hence they are 1.9RM ea. so if you do this you might be able to fool the waiter into thinking you are an ex-pat. Ok, that's said, for a round eye westerner (like myself) yeah it's really good. It's pretty basic stuff but you aren't gonna get food poising. Fast, cheap, and not spicy when you get back to the bedroom .

Traditionally sold at river canals on a floating boats in Bangkok, hence the name "Boat Noodles" can now be savored at Avenue K in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia next to Fitness First, and if you happen to spot the same name in other malls, that is because it's ubiquitously everywhere. The staple of this restaurant is their mini bowl of noodles priced at RM 1.90 each. Each bowl is seriously small, like one or two pinch of the chopsticks and poof its gone, therefore expect to order 4-5 bowls per person. Be reminded that this place is CASH only. When you order each of these mini noodles you have a choice of two types of noodles : rice or egg. Next you have the choice of two meats: chicken or beef, finally the choice of sauce: pathumtani (dark and sweet sauce) or ayutthaya (creamy and aromatic). Each bowl is RM 1.90. Overall the noodles taste delicious, my personal favorite is the beef egg noodles with the pathumtani sauce, its very aromatic, and has a nice balance of sweet, sour and savory. The flavor could further be enhanced with the 4 condiments on the table: fish sauce, sugar, chili flakes or a special vinegar.Other than then noodles, they also have three (3) rice plate choice, nine (9) side dishes, two (2) desserts and fourteen (14) elaborate drink choices. There isn't a huge menu to choose from, that's because the restaurant wants you to eat their main specialty: the boat house. I personally would recommend having the flamed grilled ayam legend RM 11.90 -- a tasty protein boost and Thai Popeye's tempura as your side -- gives a little veggie choice. And as for rice plates, I really liked the hulk smash green curry RM 11.90 -- a little spicy as you could imagine from the name, but it is really tasty. As for drinks, you cant go wrong with the ice coconut blended shake RM 8.90 or the Thai iced tea RM6.90 -- a little pricey I know. The service is a little slow and inefficient, so don't have high expectation for service, but pretty much to be expected with any Malaysian food service. They do get busy over the weekends, and queuing for a table may be something you have to do -- waiting 10-15 minutes. Their food comes relatively fast, 5-10 minutes upon ordering, but they tend to run out of certain menu items, especially on busy weekends. The seating is a little exposed for my liking, since the restaurant is in the middle of the malls walkway. Thankfully the mall is pretty dead with the crowd.Parking is located at the Avenue K mall. At a flat rate of RM 6 after 6PM on weekdays, and at an hourly rate of RM 2 per. I would personally take the LRT to KLCC station if I was you, and park at the station , since parking and traffic can be a pain in the KL City centre.

Love the thai iced coffee so much. The noodles are good too. My friend tried the kra pow chicken rice and he love it too. Love the environment too since it really privacy and away from the crowd

Good boat noodle in town. However, the place isnt that spacey and not much of variety. I love their thai tea though, its a must order if you ever come to visit to quench your thirst.

We will always come back because of the chili flakes with the noodle and the meatball. Unfortunalety, the fried wings were too dry and small. In KLCC the waiters should be more friendly too
