I have already been visited Baan Thai first shop 2times this past year and We loved the meals there since it hit my place for spicy, sour and fragrant. My friends made a decision to ask me for supper yesterday and We passed by here several times andfelt skeptical to use. Since this is actually the 2nd store of baan thai, certain food will undoubtedly be spicy and great as well. We had:- Salted fermented crab som tam @ RM12 Tom yam seafood @ RM25 Salted egg squid @ RM25 Steamed fish along with lime siakap @ RM45 BBQ chicken wing 2number @ RM 6 Stew porkleg rice place @ RM10 2 jug pandan drinking water @ RM 5 per jug Fermented crab somtam are usually crunch but zero punch on all for spicyness except the meals Versailles fish sauce and fermented crab. Tomyam seafood aren't spicy, fragrant or zero existence of sweetness from the seafood inside the broth. It had been a overall letdown for me. Salted egg squid are usually alright and couldn’t taste the current presence of the salted egg. Just fragrance via curry leaves. Insufficient wok hei too Steamed fish aren't overcook but lack the oomphhhh. The rest are simply average and simply edible. Seafood and seafood are new. After eating, we obtained extremely thirsty and had therefore much cold pandan drinking water. So must be a whole lot msg or salt utilized. Total bill for 3adults are RM 156. Overall encounter are simply okay, food are typical and ideal for a great deal chinese but also for me picky eater, I'll not arrived at this outlet again. Instead adhere to the original wall plug as the foods are usually spicy, sour and fragrant for me personally.
