I visited this restaurant a few weeks back. I've been to Annalakshmi in Chennai and I'm a huge fan of that place. This restaurant in Malaysia tries to mimic the same beautiful ambience and achieves it, though not at the same level as the Chennai branch and this is completely understandable considering it's in a foreign country. I had the dinner buffet and it was good, despite some dishes being a little oily. The sambar and rasam were great and had a very authentic South Indian taste. The north Indian paneer subji was a littlle under whelming, and there is room for improvement here. The Gobi Manchurian was quite oily and something the restaurant can work on. The roti and other flat bread choices very were well made and the mango lassi was very tasty as well. Overall it was a great Indian dining experience in a foreign country, on par with my other wonderful food adventures in indian restaurants abroad.

Terrible service.. very unfriendly staff.. food is nothing great.. we had the buffet lunch.. all the dishes were dripping in oil. Avoid at all costs! Just walk further down to little India for some better quality Indian food.

vijaya rao is a family member from Hyderabad who likes to eat your authentic south cuisine dosas and sambar along with her cousin indumathi krishnan from petaling jaya.  I used to know pay as you wish dining with lunch and dinner menu many yrs. ago when there was a business HOlistic Ayurvedic centre  run by patrick and Dr.Krishnan - Klinik Krishna brickfields and it was convenient place for lunches, also temple of fine arts food from canteen. Recently,  vijaya rao relatives, raman brother with indu m athi krishnan family from Kuala Lumpur, travels specially to their family, dines  with them to enjoy south cuisine of sambar ,rasam and north indian paneer subji and full dinner meals, a la carte dishes which is matching to many hotel restaurants like Hotel Rain tree - st. Mary's road near TTK road in Chennai. It is a great dining experience when they bring relatives to such authentic place but I don't want to get troubled by their enthusiasm of eating such multicuisine authentic dishes for dinners and get along wtih each other making it family dining. treats ,  proud diners who know all my marriage alliances from matrimony    further more, .... as a trouble for  my Ayurveda profession ( Dr.Arathi- Venkataramana Ayurveda College Kutchery Road)back in Chennai.

Heard about a restaurant where volunteers come and serve. I had buffet for lunch. Their highlights are Palak/ green pooris, banana kheer. Sambar and rasam were good. It tastes like home food. Definitely a place to calm your tummy.

I've never tried Indian vegetarian before but my sister brought me there and I started to love Indian vegetarian food. This restaurant is dining on anon-profit business. All staffs are volunteers. Even though they are volunteers yet they are so friendly and helpful. Anyone can dine in and after your meal you may choose to pay or not at any amount you like. It's totally a good dining place with a heart for charity.
